We had a very nice stay at the One Cat B and B (me, my husband and my mother-in-law). The two rooms are perfect for family and friends traveling together. As other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are large and comfortable, the hosts are friendly and welcoming, the mini library is well stocked with an eclectic selection of books, and the breakfasts are delicious. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is all the little touches that make your stay special: the charging stations on each side of the bed; the coloring books and colored pencils in each room; the little humor books in the rooms as well as the living room/breakfast room; the cat shaped soaps; the mini fridges stocked with cold water, sparkling lemonade, and milk for coffee or tea. We also had the pub lunch that is available for an extra fee--highly recommended! Scrumptious home made roast chicken, veg, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All in all, a great place to spend the weekend.

This is an awesome B&B! Pat and Conrad are great hosts and they live on site so they are available if you need anything. The room was clean and very spacious. There was comfortable seating in addition to the bed. The room had it's own Keurig machine and it's own AC/heat system. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Several food and drink options to consider. Also, Conrad bakes his own bread. I had the maple oat bread which was so good. This was my first time in Brattleboro. I will definitely stay at the One Cat next time I am there!

We enjoyed our time at One Cat. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was awesome and the hosts are great! Easy walk into downtown Brattleboro and the Whetstone Brewery. My wife is allergic to cats. And our gracious hosts kept them in their private quarters so no problem.

The One Cat is wonderful. My husband and I and my father rented both rooms, which was great. Pat and Conrad were fantastic hosts — we wanted to know more about the area and what brought them there, as my dad is thinking of moving to the area. They're fun to talk to and gave us lots of ideas for restaurants and art galleries to visit. The rooms are really comfy and nice, each with their own individual bathroom just steps away down the hall, like a house would have. We also wanted to watch something that evening, and though there are TVs in the rooms, we used the one in the common area downstairs, which is hooked up with Roku. This common area has tons of games too. I loved that there's a little library next to the bedrooms. I get up earlier than my husband so it was a nice place to read in the morning. Pat and Conrad's breakfast was delicious! Also the location is perfect. A very short walk to a wonderful coop market or to a nice view of the river from the bridge to New Hampshire.

We stayed at the one cat for a couple of nights on our tour of New England. Pat and Conrad (and of course not forgetting Dexter and Piper) were great hosts, friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. We were in the Brighton room, which was really comfortable and spacious with a clean and modern private bathroom - we loved the touch of the cat soap made by Conrad! We would definitely recommend staying here.

My girlfriend and I booked a room at the one cat for our 1 year anniversary trip, and I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the brighton room, which was gorgeous, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The private bathroom is beautiful, with colors inspired by Brighton itself. The shower height was a big plus for a tall guy (6'3") like myself. Hosts Conrad and Pat provide such a warmth and hospitality that you can't help but immediately befriend them. All are welcome at the one cat and they make that clear ( people with hate in their hearts need not book). They are a masterclass is hosting and amazing chefs and bakers to boot. Dexter and Piper are such sweet, friendly, loving cats, it was hard not to want to just pet them the entire time! The whole experience makes for an unforgettable time. The location is beautiful and convenient to downtown Brattleboro. We will be back many, many times. Thank you so much again Conrad and Pat - your new friends Andrew and Erica.

Charming, small B&B. Very welcoming hosts. Close to Brattleboro. Safe neighborhood.

The only thing lovelier than the property is Pat & Conrad themselves! We had an amazing experience and cannot wait to come back. We had a full adventure.
