Where to begin? It looks great on the outside. The lobby is spectacular. Staff is great. The view from our room was interesting, if you like looking down at traffic. I had high hopes for this place. It was a splurge that we usually don't do. I continued to be disappointed throughout the stay unfortunately. The room was underwhelming, especially for the price ($300). It felt drab and tired. The bed was worn out and had very little support. There were marks on the wall and I wonder if the place has ever been updated. Traffic noise was amplified and the doors slam. So whenever people would come & go, the doors would slam behind them. You could hear people talking in the hallway, kids yelling, which says the walls are thin. The balcony was cool but it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy it. The worst part of the stay was the prices. The room was high, but the restaurant was astronomical. $13 for a chicken sandwich (only) with shaved chicken on white bread, $8 for toast, $19 for a ”piece” of cake that could've fed 5 people. Plus 21% room service fee and $2 delivery fee. A white bread chicken & swiss sandwich and a giant piece of cake cost us $45. Plus whatever we tipped the delivery person. I know it's Branson and this was right by the Promenade. But we've stayed in this area before for less and a much better experience. Live and learn, the hard way.
