This adorable waterfront house offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. With five bedrooms and multiple entertainment areas this home offers comfort and relaxation for everyone. The bright and open main level offers a cozy living area, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops. You'll also enjoy three main level bedrooms and two full bathrooms. On the main level you also have a large deck and screen porch to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. The lower level offers an additional large living room and entertainment space which includes a ping pong table, pool table, wet bar, walk out access to a covered patio, and an adjacent patio with fire pit, gas grill and corn hole. Back inside, the lower level also includes a large laundry room, two bedrooms, one full bathroom and one half-bathroom. The bedrooms in this house feature1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, 1 full bedroom, and a bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunk beds. Also offering 3.5 bathrooms ensuring convenience for all. At our hideaway, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The house is situated on a large gently slopped lot with easy access from the house to the lake via a newly paved concrete path. Hubquarter creek is a large cove located at mile marker 11 on the main lake which is less than 10 minutes from restaurants, Eaton Ferry bridge, and Eaton Ferry Marina. By car, you're less than 10 miles from grocery shopping, restaurants and other Lake Gaston amenities. Buck Springs Park is at the entrance of our neighborhood and includes picnic shelters, bike and walking trails, historic buildings, Nathaniel Macon's gravesite and restored home place, a playground and fishing pier. Whether you're planning a long or short stay, our place is equipped to make your stay one to remember. We've taken care to ensure the house is clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need - from coffee pots, to pots and pans and everything in between. We include bed linens and bath towels, starter supplies of toilet paper, soap, and detergent. For entertainment we have a closet full of games and puzzles, ping pong and pool supplies, books, cards, dominos, etc. We also have reliable wi-fi and two smart televisions. Also on the main floor is another bedroom with a queen size bed situated just next to a full bathroom.With a large group of family or friends you'll enjoy having the option of indoor play in the heated and cooled garage game room OR in the 2nd living space located on the lower level. The game room comes complete with ping-pong, air hockey and sitting areas. The lower living area has full seating, a board game table and a large HD TV. Furnished with patio loungers, a porch swing, hammock chairs and a table/chair set, you'll find the dock perfect for everyone's water front expectations. Need some exercise? Grab the kayak or the paddle board and take them for a spin. With 7 feet of water depth, a cannonball contest might be in order!Our home comes complete with bed linens as well as bathing and kitchen towels. Our neighborhood is large, quiet and safe with numerous paved roads so bring your bikes and feel free to tour around. You will also find a neighborhood park and pavilion at the entrance of our neighborhood with a playground for the kids to enjoy.At this time we do not provide a boat lift for rental use; however, we do have mooring whips (with instructions) for safe/secure boat or jet ski docking. These ties are easy to use and keep your vessel a safe distance from the dock even during storms and/or high wake time periods. The closest ramp is located at Morningstar Marina, just a few miles drive from the house.
