The location is outstanding. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. It was easy to access the key. We liked the breakfast which had many choices and came promptly. Park by the Model Village if you can, that was a shorter walk than the other options.

Very clean and spacious room overlooking the High Street. Quiet room. Generous sized bathroom. Rooms serviced daily if you put the tag on the door when you go out. Wall radiator heating was on and off at irregular times - a bit frustrating in the winter weather. Good breakfast delivered to the rooms if you tick your choices on the tag and time you prefer it to be delivered and place it outside your door the night before. There was a gentleman who we met when we were letting ourselves into the front door. He was very helpful and advised us about ordering breakfast and room cleaning daily service, using the tags. He cleaned and serviced the rooms. Bottled water and milk , tea and coffee supplied . Very conveniently situated guesthouse with easy access to local restaurants and pubs in the high street. The access to the rooms was via carpeted stair case. Parking was at a public parking area very close by that you pay for by card on site.

Spent a fabulous night here with my husband on our way to visit Highclere Castle. The room was fabulous, the extra large bath was lovely, bed very comfy and beautiful breakfast in the morning. It is situated right in the centre of the town so easy to access all the little bars and restaurants.

As other reviews say this hotel is ideally located in the centre of the village with most rooms, including ours, overlooking the river. Ours (Sterling) was spacious and well appointed with a large bathroom & a large comfortable bed. What other reviews might not tell you is; * There is a chip shop on the ground floor * all breakfasts are delivered to your room at half hour slots of your choice. * There are no staff at the hotel (keys access from key safes) * Bourton can get extremely busy ,especially on sunny weekends ,and you almost certainly wont be able to park close to the hotel However none of this is really a problem (though we had to ring the contact as our key safe number hadn't been emailed to us). The chip shop doesn't stay open late & doesn't smell. The breakfasts were always delivered on time & were delicious. There's a pay car park just on the edge of the village about 10 minutes walk away. The crowds go home in the evening!

2nd excellent stay here. Love the self check-in & out. Lovely choice for breakfast. Large airy room with bay seating area overlooking the green & the river. Couldn’t have been better positioned for convenience & holiday experience. Huge comfy bed & pillows. Bathroom nearly as big. Only fault is … you have to leave at the end!

Our stay at the old bank rooms was one of the best experiences we could’ve hoped for whilst visiting bourton on the water, the room was large and the bed was absolutely massive and so comfy! One of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had, the bath was incredible as well, took a whole bottle of bubble bath to cover the surface! Would highly recommend to anyone staying, the river is right outside and so close to the shops and towns main attractions
