巴拉海灘平房(Bara Beach Bungalows)

Beautiful place, exzellent service and super friendly, lovely staff. I definitely will recommend this place to my friends.

Leuk bungalow park in Bara. Bungalow is ruim en netjes ingericht. Badkamer voldoet aan alle gemakken. De in het restaurant geserveerde gerechten zijn kwalitatief goed. Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Prima plek om even van de reis bij te komen en te ontspannen op het strand

Très bon séjour dans ce petit hôtel très bien tenu. Personnel très aimable et flexible sur les horaires (pour se remettre du décalage horaire avec 3 petits enfants). Nous avions les 2 bungalows proche de la mer vue exceptionnelle. Très belle plage juste en bas. Bon restaurant. Nous avons apprécié que l hôtel soit également fréquenté par des indonésiens en vacances et que l a plage soit publique ce qui a permis de rencontrer des locaux. Seul bémol grosse fête juste a coté de l hôtel tard le soir et odeur de cigarette dans notre salle de bain.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil,la simplicité et la qualité des prestations tant pour la restauration que les bungalows en bordure de mer.une petite structure avec une envie de bien faire qui fait plaisirs et donne envie de rester ou revenir.La plage est belle avec des détritus ramassés,la baignade possible sans risques.

On the map, Bira looks relatively "close" to Makassar, and most reviews say that it is a popular weekend destination. But don't be fooled by the map, it is rather a day-trip of about 6 hours to get from Makassar to Bira. But this is certainly worth it, once you have seen the beautiful white beach and the amazing colour of the water! All taken into account, we would recommend to stay at least 3 nights or more to be able to enjoy this fully. We were there during weekdays, so it was not too busy at the beach. Be prepared for some occasional Karaoke sound from nearby resorts, this seems to be a given activity for locals during beach trips... And you may feel like a celebrity at the beach, locals really like to take pictures with the tourists! The Bara Beach Bungalows are located almost at the end of the beach, in a nice sloping garden. The restaurant and reception is near the beach terrace and serves excellent food! We had many nice meals here and were not disappointed. We especially liked the water refill station (hot and cold water for free), this helps to reduce the plastic waste! Breakfast is sometimes served as a buffet if there are many guests, but on most days we got to select from the breakfast menu options (special requests were never a problem). Staff is very friendly and speaks good English, on most days you will also be able to meet the manager who appears to be a native speaker in both Indonesian and English and who gave us lots of nice advice for trips around the area. We definitely recommend to do a snorkeling trip by boat to the small island opposite the beach, there is a really beautiful coral reef garden with lots of different fish to be explored! You can walk along the beach during low tide to get to the other resorts, especially the partner location Akasha Beach Club is worth a visit for sunset! But keep the tide times in mind to safely get back and bring a torch or headlight (there is a road as well, just in case). Would stay here again any time if we are in the area!

Jenna, Stefan and all their staff made us so very welcome here at Bara beach. We arrived quite late after an exhausting journey from Toraja but then enjoyed a really delicious dinner and a wonderful quiet night’s sleep. Breakfast was equally delicious - you must try the French toast! The beach here is long and sandy and it is easy to walk along to explore other places to eat too - just check the tides! Recommend Room 1. So peaceful and relaxed.

Prachtig gelegen klein resort aan mooi strand in Bara- Bira. Mooie huisjes met de laagste nummers het dichtst bij de zee. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Op terras van restaurant uitzicht op zee. Ook ligbedden en terras aanwezig. Ontbijt geeft heeijke omelet, banaanpannekoeken of cereals. Ook lunch/diner is goed. Met eb loop je zo naar de andere strandjes. Hotel kan trips regelen naar Liukang Island om te snorkelen. Veel indonesiers op het strand nu het rustiger is met Europeanen, dus veel fotoshoots ;)

Wat liggen deze bungalows mooi, verspreid over een tuin, die bergaf loopt, midden in het tropische groen. De bungalows zijn mooi met een terrasje,van binnen een prachtig dak, ruim opgezet, een lekker bed, airco en ruime badkamer. De open douche loopt wat slecht af,dus de vloer wordt flink nat. 1 x gedineerd in het open restaurant, dat was goed. Ontbijt; keuze uit pancakes gevuld met banaan en choc.pasta...mmmm of eieren met toast. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor een dagje snorkelen bij een eiland in de buurt.
