堪薩斯城-邦納斯普林斯舒適飯店(Comfort Inn Bonner Springs Kansas City)

Unfortunately, the hotel has an awful smell in all the hallways, very musty. We had a cockroach in our room, they did upgrade us since we had this issue. But, nervous the whole time about finding additional bugs.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It’s below average. A bit dingy overall. The pool and hot tub have been closed by the county medical examiner for some undisclosed reason. The 1st floor hallway is very humid and has a chemical pool smell. The hvac unit in the room was long out of date.

Great place to stay. The only thing I asked for which I didn't get was plain water in the morning. They only had lemon infused water which I can't have. I was told to buy a bottle of water. Other than that I would stay here again.

The hot tub is why I stayed at this location. Yet the pool and hot tub was closed due to being shut down by the health dept

Toilets backed up easy and needed plunged. Bathrool light flickered the whole time. Heater did not heat to proper temp and shut off.

Shower water was only somewhat warm for a couple of minutes then went cold. Did this every time. Hair dryer in room didn’t work. Reception staff on checkin was very pleasant and helpful.

I booked this property with the expectation of a functioning pool and hot tub as this was shown in the amenities. We arrive with our 10 year old whom is excited to swim, only to learn that the pool and hot tub are broken. Zero dollars were discounted from our cost even though the amenities we paid for were not available. The lady at the front desk claims that there was nothing she could do other than cancel our room, which I'm not sure how she thought having nowhere to stay would be helpful in any way. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. The room was kust your typical hotel room. Definitely a disappointing experience.

I like that it’s easy access right off I-70. I was in the area to visit my daughter for her sorority’s “Dad’s Weekend” at KU. This hotel is only a half hour drive to Lawrence. Hotels in Lawrence are $300-$400/nt on KU Football wknds. I think I paid around $135/nt. I’ll gladly drive an extra 20 minute or so to save $200 . And it’s right on my way into Lawrence from where I live in Iowa. Staff was friendly. Room was just fine….clean, comfy, quiet. Had a nice King bed & a little sitting area w sofa & TV. I needed it to shower/change, then sleep there one night & check out the next morning….18 hrs total. It was perfect for my needs this trip. Had the complimentary breakfast, pretty standard hotel fare….scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bread, bagels, etc. There is a Waffle House next door but I didn’t have time to go there instead. Convenience Store right there as well (7-11 I think) to get gas, snacks, drinks if you need. Hotel did have a small sundries area next to front desk with a cooler of pop, bottled water, chips, candy bars etc to purchase. It didn’t affect me at all, but they did tell me the pool area was closed. I didn’t ask why or for how long cuz I didn’t need it. But for ppl traveling w families, this might make a difference. Might want to check before booking if this matters to you.

The stay itself was good. I particularly chose this hotel because of the indoor pool, only to find it was not available. It would be nice to have that information on their website. Otherwise pretty nice place.
