El albergue estaba impecablemente limpio. Fue muy fácil conocer a gente nueva y hacer amigos. Ofrecen desayuno y cena, que son absolutamente deliciosos, aunque a veces tienden a olvidar tu pedido. Sin embargo, estos pequeños inconvenientes no opacaron mi experiencia. En general, tuve una estancia increíble, la cual recomendaría sin dudarlo. La atmósfera era cálida y acogedora, añadiendo un encanto especial a mis días allí.

Top notch! I'm a 71-yr-old female solo traveler, and this place is perfectly located, extremely clean, serves very good breakfast 'til noon, good dinner 'til 9pm, and staff is attentive and helpful. I totally enjoyed the walking tour, the graffiti tour and the food tour; I learned a lot! The sleeping area is well separated from the lobby and socializing areas, and is REALLY quiet. During my four-day stay, I never had to wait for a toilet or a sink or a shower, in the area where those amenities were shared. Guests were all friendly and considerate; no "cranky crocs" or cranky people to be found! Note to guests with mobility issues: you should ask for a private room to fit your needs, as there are some which are on the first floor and not around the uneven courtyard floor. Feel safe booking your stay at the Croc. Great location in Bogota that you can walk to for all of your dining and partying needs. The hostal is super clean with nice sized private rooms. The common area has a decent breakfast for you to choose from as well group dinners every night which are very well priced and very good. On Fridays they serve some fancy drinks with dinner for cheap. The owner is extremely helpful in all ways and the desk staff are also very good. Wifi works well and there are computers you can rent outside the TV room. Overall, a great hostal to stay at for a great price. Hope that helps and feel free to message us if you have any questions. I arrived in Bogota to study Spanish and to see Bogota. Through this site I understood it was a great hostel. That's it for many people i think. If you are young (or not), love going out, drinking, *****, then it's great. Such an atmosphere hung there when I staid there. Not many ladys, many drinking young man (inglish, american). But at the other hand, didn't meet many woman travellers through all of Colombia. The hostel looks pretty amazing. My room was small and I regretted that there was no shower in my room. Such rooms are available, but a few. It was very cold. In Colombia, no one has a heater! My room is adjacent to the open air, so it was extra cold. What I liked was that at night a door was closed at the bar area. Then you could sleep well. There is a kitchen, internet and TV area. The hostel is nearly always full so book early! The breakfast is only after 9 0 clock, so if you want to start early in the morning, not useful. It is located in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance of the bus, Montserrat around the corner etc. The staff is nice, but because it is large, they have little personal interest. You are one of many. I felt a little lonely on my own. It was too big and poky to quickly gain insight into fellow travelers. A bit of every man for himself. After a week I moved, not my thing.

Muy buen hostel, es grande, y como todo hotal grande hay mucha gente.... lo bueno que si bien hay muhca gente no hubo situacion en donde no se pudo dormir o bullicio en horario nocturno, tiene un patio de encuentro que esta lejos de las habitaciones... Las camas de los dormitorios compartidos son ALTAS... dato a tener en cuenta si alguien tiene miedo... mi novia es una de ellas, pero no le paso nada y el problema es solo subir hahahahha los colchones de 10!!!! dormir muy bien, lejos el mejor colchon de los 5 hostal que estuve en Colombia... La cocina muy buenaaa!!! Saludos!!!

Me encantaron el Beer Tour y el Food Tour, delicioso, Nick y July son excelentes guías, todo muy muy bonito ♥️ En el beer tour los lugares muy chuscos, las cervezas muy ricas, July la Guía muy cool En el Food Tour la comida deliciosa, recomendado por el ajiaco y el chiguiro!! Nick sabe mucho de datos curiosos y sobre los platos típicos nacionales. Todo delicioso, el lugar muy bonito, la gente muy amable! RECOOOMENDADO 👏🏼
