大河景觀飯店(Grand River View Hotel)

Hotels were all a bit basic in Rajshahi until this place opened. This is a vast improvement over everywhere else. Construction work is still ongoing with the upper floors still being worked on. The rooms on the lower floors are very nice. Good modern furnishings, good wifi and a good bathroom. The only odd thing in the room I had which was not right were the wooden framed windows/balcony doors which did not close properly meaning there was traffic noise. There is a small pool on the upper levels which looks good and clean. The restaurant also provided some good food. Overall a good stay.

Love the staff! The food was excellent, and the location was convenient. The room was very comfortable. It was during the Eid festival and there was a lot going on, but they managed all the festivities quite well. Check in and check out we’re very smooth.

The bed is not that comfortable. Not special it’s like ordinary hotels bed. Lack of tea/ coffee in the hotel room. Breakfast was superb. We had lunch in the restaurant. Service is very slow. Better order in the morning to get on time food. Waiters and staffs are very polite and respectful.

✳️✳️ Mixed review. Read thoroughly. ✅✅ wifi good, restaurant food for lunch n dunner is good but, take time to serve. ✅✅ Buffet breakfast delicious, aerves local food also. Serves early by 7 am, so easy for those who want to catch train. ✅✅ Staffs are friendly. ❌❌ House keeping service very bad. My baby lost a toy under bed ( just need a stick to let it out), we asked by phone, dint came. Later, during day out asked reception and even they wrote note.but, when we came at night, still they didnot have it. Even fornother housekeeping service, you have to wait. ❌❌ we took 2 room, one executive and one double premium- 407, 409. Rain water entered into premium room-407 at mid night through sealed wooden framed window. It wet all carpet, belongings of floor. We had to call them at mid night to swipe. During day time, they didnot routinely clean the room, as it was raining, will enter water again..so pathetic.

The hotel, situated in a desirable location, offers luxurious accommodations and well-appointed rooms. However, the staff's lack of training is a significant issue. There have been several instances of poor service, starting with their failure to extend my stay despite my request during check-in. Additionally, they unexpectedly relocated me to a different room while I was away, and to my dismay, my reusable razor was lost in the process. Surprisingly, they later returned it, possibly having retrieved it from the garbage. Furthermore, the restaurant staff's attentiveness leaves much to be desired. On one occasion, they mistakenly served my omelet to another guest, even though I was seated directly in front of them along with only three or four other guests.
