Had a great stay, fantastic view, relaxed quiet place. Friendly staff. The accommodation is situation on a cliff which not only contributes to great seaside views but also adds to a sense of safety (nobody walking into the backyard). There is a nice little restaurant next door

The stay was excellent, rooms were very clean and tidy. breakfast was great, the view of the ocean was incredible, good value for money, i would add a suggestion to the rooms and add a microwave. Thank Tides Inn for the wonderful stay.

The view on this property is spectacular, staff is extremely friendly, except for the housekeeping lady, but that won't keep me from going back. The room was extremely comfortable, the bed, the location. Everything was perfect. The host, Kerry was also very welcoming. The pictures on this site dont do the place justice ... absolutely beautiful

The vista of the Indian ocean was magnificent. Easy access to the beautiful garden next door and the restaurant. The room was well furnished. The curtains need to be sorted as they are not hung correctly. Maybe add a net curtain for privacy. Breakfast needed more options and a larger coffee machine. No ironing board. Safe parking. Overall great value for money.

After a long day of traveling, arriving at tides inn was like heaven on earth! The views are absolutely breathtaking 😍 we got there through our bags down and just absorbed the scenery. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was yummy, and the lady helping us at breakfast was so friendly and welcoming. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there, and I will definitely be back.

I was travelling home via Durban and needed a place to stay overnight. Preferably with a sea view. The room was clean and had a great location. Fantastic sea view and I loved that I could walk to the neighbouring restaurant via a boardwalk for dinner. Breakfast was simple but good. Would definitely recommend it for a one or two night stay.

Awesome place to stay if in Durban for a few days. The Tides Inn boasts of awesome sea views and relaxing ocean sounds. We were lucky enough to spot some dolphins and whales in the morning. The rooms are quite spacious and the breakfast and service was great. We will definitely be back next time we are in Durban.

The king size bed was comfortable, and the view superb. Very clean room and shower. Friendly staff, and we felt safe at all times. All in all, a well maintained home. The hot breakfast was freshly prepared, and delicious. We will be back!
