特拉弗斯城麗怡飯店(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Traverse City, MI)

There are two aspects of this place that I find quite unfavorable. First, the shower water temperature is inconsistent, often vacillating between uncomfortably cold and scalding hot, with minimal adjustability. This makes it nearly impossible to enjoy a typical shower. Second, there's a disturbance when guests in neighboring rooms flush their toilets, resulting in a rather loud gurgling noise from our own. Due to these two issues, I wouldn't recommend this place to others. People in the front desk is not very helpful or friendly.

It was a giant surprise when (after having reserved my room in advance and paid for it online) I was told during check-in that residents within a 25-mile radius must pay an additional $200 reservation/hold fee. This inconvenience/annoyance set the tone for the entire stay. Extremely disappointing that ******* chooses not to make this clear on their site.

Was not a great welcome when we were asked to take down our Player hockey door flags from our door for our child’s safety because they could be targets. Not a great Hotel for Sports teams and their families.

We stayed one night here and after staying it’s easy to see why this is one of the cheaper hotels in the area. While the high-traffic areas of the room were clean, most other areas were dusty or a bit grimy. It’s clear that they either have a housekeeping staff that is short staffed, or doesn’t care, or both. The bare minimum to get a room “clean” is being done but the little details just aren’t there. Things like the bathroom fan vent were completely dusty, the toilet paper holder base wasn’t clean, dust on the headboard, etc. We will definitely not stay here again - head next door to the Cambria for a much better stay.

The 1st room we were given had hair all over the floor of the bathroom, so they switched rooms for us. The second room was also not cleaned well. There was a large coffee or cola stain beside the bed. The bathroom looked like it was had a quick wet mop and go. There was dirt accumulated in the corners and outside the shower. Then we found a toenail on the floor by the nightstand near the ice bucket and clean glasses. It just felt dirty afterwards.

The front desk staff at Country Inn & Suites were very rude. I had met 5 friends in the lobby for a wine tour and told them we’d only have 4 of us staying and they proceeded to lecture me about open intoxicants, which none of us ever had in the hotel. When asked for a roll-away or blankets they proceeded to give us only one blanket and no roll-away. They also lectured my friend staying in the room about the number of people staying, when the front desk had already been told we wouldn’t be having 6 people stay in the room overnight. Their hospitality staff need some lessons on customer service.

I am giving this review a two star rating. It was not the hotels fault but there were kids everywhere due to a soccer tournament. Everyone was complaining about the noise. The parents didn't seem to care. The staff was trying hard to control the noise problem in the middle of the night but they would have needed about 4 security people to do a good job. I felt sorry for the staff at the hotel as they were trying to deal with the complaints but having a really hard time. Other than the noise, the staff was very nice, room was very clean and I would stay again but this stay was less than optimal.

I’m handicap. I ask for a room on the first floor near the front desk and breakfast area. They put me at the very back on the second floor. It’s very difficult for me to ge around

Way overpriced for the small room and condition of the property. We won’t stay here again!
