We stayed there 4 times over the last 18 months. Great location good pools nice large spacious unit, friendly mangers very helpful. Backs onto the beach, big barbecue area. Would recommend everyone to stay there.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa which was very spacious & private. Very quiet location with the beach at the back of the property for easy access for walks on the long beach. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind & relax. Very well equipped kitchen with laundry as well.

Beautiful clean spacious apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Great location right on the beach with pool area, BBQ area undercover, tennis/basketball court and large lawn area for kicking a footy. Great staff. Thankyou - will definitely try to book again next time

We stayed 5 nights in a Beach Villa, very large, airy and spacious, clean & bright, lovely lush tropical garden views, private patio space with chairs and table. We paid less for just 2 ppl as they lock off the second bedroom, & better value if you stay 2 nights or more. Good value compared with a motel. Beach Villas are the closest units to the beach access but have no view to beach directly, as the property maintains the natural coastal vegetation (good for birdwatching!), but beach is only 90 seconds walk from villa. Beach Villas look to the tennis court, pools and bbq, some kids played out on the grass & families bbqing & swimming, but it wasn't intrusive, and overall very quiet and peaceful (late August). Bit busier on weekend. Parking space outside every unit; it is a bit tight as others have said, but we were fine getting our large Everest 4WD in & could open doors fine to get things out of the car. Terry the manager was most helpful, from original booking, and for a couple of queries. Patio screen wasn't opening when we arrived but he got it fixed very quickly. Internet was a bit interrupted, even on our own mobile data, despite there being a mobile phone tower nearby. Good long walks along beach in both directions, numbered markers indicate where to come back thru to accommodation. 5 mins drive to big Coles, Woollies, post office, petrol. Easy drive into Mackay, 50mins to excellent Cape Hillsborough NP.

Staff where amazing! very friendly and helpful. Great sized unit, close to the beach, good shared facilities. Was a bit out of the way as we where there for sporting events but didn’t stress us to have to drive there and back a few times. Convenient store and takeaway options just around the corner for all the little bits and pieces you may have forgot. Internet connection was limited and interrupted while trying to watch sports but we just watched the free to air versions of available. Other than that the positive is we where able to disconnect from devices for a few days. Units are great value for money. As other reviews mentioned parking is a bit tight but we where aware and prepared so this didn’t bother us. Thank you for having us.

Great 4 night stay here. Fantastic location right on fhe beach which is perfect for morning walks. Our villa was so spacious had everything you would want. Comfy beds and pillows.. well maintained gardens, 2 pools, a kids pool and a separate spa. Great bbq area which was so clean. Walking distance to the pub and a little supermarket and chinese restaurant. Terry the manager was so welcoming and keen to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend this place.

Shores is located right on beach. We had a 2 storey townhouse which was clean and very spacious with a well equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. A toilet on both levels which was convenient. There is also a good sized swimming pool and tennis court. It is located close to takeaway outlets, a restaurant, Coles and Woolworths. Hosts were both pleasant and helpful. Great value for money. Very quiet location.

There is much to like about this accommodation but negatives do exist. The position is superb and our ‘townhouse’ was spacious with excellent parking and good wifi. Downstairs was a bit lacking in light but upstairs had been quite recently renovated, and to a high standard. But, when we turned on the oven it was soon sparking and was a fire risk. When we reported this the owner was anxious to set about supplying a new oven. Thankfully there were enough other means of preparing a meal. The bathroom was superb in design - new his & hers washbasins and a double shower large enough to accommodate a party! The largest we have seen so far in our 4 weeks in Australia - but the towel rails were hanging off the wall and were unusable.

The facilities were fantastic for our little family Easy rear access to the beach Pools are amazing and catered for all ages and swimming capabilities and kids can easily play whilst parents relax and watch in by the lounge BBQ facilities and set up were great Staff were friendly even the cleaning and maintenance staff Email was sent to me a few days prior to check with lots of handy info such as hours of operation, facilities near by, where to eat etc I cannot fault anything about this place it was perfect for us
