堪薩斯州海斯希爾頓花園飯店(Hilton Garden Inn Hays)

I live in the town it’s located. And I booked it and called them to let them know it was a pool party for my daughter’s birthday. They heater on the pool was out and the water was freezing. The kids could only swim for about 10 mins and their lips were turning blue so they pulled it. They said the heater had been out for a couple of weeks. In my opinion, a professional establishment would have called and let me know so that I could make other arrangements for my daughters birthday. It was very disappointing. The staff did the best they could in the moment

Loved the open space when you come in the lobby. Staff was friendly and the room was really nice and comfy. Loved the little welcome on the tv screen for me. Lots of plug ins throughout the room if you needed to charge a dozen things at once! Shower was hot and relaxing! Had a little trouble with the bathroom door (heavy) but otherwise very clean looking.

Receptionist was alone in a very busy hotel. She was stressed over whelmed and undertrained. Failed to provide correct information about rewards and failed to deliver fold out to room after chastising us that is was necessary due to 'fire code'. I don't blame her, she needed help. This is a nice property, management should do a much better of staffing...including management being present on a busy Saturday evening. Do better.

The Hilton system/software messed up my reservation, I was added under a strangers reservation and when I explain the situation the receptionist said her system showed me under the stranger and wouldn’t do anything about it. Just pointing to the system saying that’s what I says and she wanted me to agree to be under the strangers reservation. Very bizarre. Somewhat ruin the night since I wasn’t sure how the situation was going to be resolved as she gave me a room but seemed to be done with the situation so I wasn’t sure what she did behind the scene after being so adamant of not doing anything.

Gal was great at desk did not catch her name - long horn though. Best hotel in the area by a mile.

This place is a must stay if you’re visiting Hays! It’s clean, quiet, the staff is friendly and the rooms are a great size.

On the way to Colorado and found this to be an excellent, clean and quite hotel.

With honors it’s nice to check in and out without used desk. Phone for door card worked great
