The resort is very beautifully made, gives off a very relaxing, zen vibe. The rooms are spacious and the terrace outside our room was huge. No noise from nature , it was a peaceful sleep. We loved the yoga class. We were doing yoga facing the white himalays as the backdrop. We loved the recreation room, we played Carom board and snooker. We also did jacuzzi and sauna. The sauna machine doesn’t seem to be working well, and the jacuzzi could be a bit warmer. The food (both dinner and breakfast buffet) was delicious . Great selection of indian, western and nepali dishes. The masala tea was yummy. The complementary drinks and sunset activity at the helipad was memorable. Overall, we had a good experience and we would highly recommend it to others. If you are looking to treat yourself and your loved ones, go for this resort.

Perched on top of a mountain overlooking the three ancient cities of Nepal with spectacular 180 views of the Himalayan range, this has to be one of the top resorts In the world. Everything is wonderful - from the moment you arrive (after a bit of a bumpy ride towards the end of the hour long drive from Kathmandu - highly recommend the property transfers) you are nestled in a calm oasis of tranquility with luxurious rooms, facilities and amenities. The staff are all very hardworking and ever ready to go over and beyond to meet guest requirements. The seasoned Executive chef, Deepak Mishra, carves out culinary delight after delight and the custom made food is super delicious with top notch ingredients. The spa provides excellent massages with professional therapists. Yoga is provided by Yogi Adesh, who is a master in his trade and energizes the start to the day. There are variety of activities and organized hikes topping it up with the dramatic sunset on the helipad area with super selection of snacks and drinks every evening. Terraces resort is the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature.

The Terraces offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range and all three historical cities of Nepal in the valley below. We loved its elegant blend of minimalistic and traditional interiors with exceptionally relaxing ambience be it in the spacious rooms with scenic balcony or just strolling through the serene nature surroundings. My mother and I felt totally pampered by the most welcoming, friendly, gracious, and professional staff members who made us feel so comfortable every minute of our stay at The Terraces. Morning bird-watching, outdoor yoga, a guided hike in the neighboring hills or happy hour watching stunning sunsets, rekindling childhood memories by flying kites (during Dasain), and after-dinner fun games for guests made our stay extra special and memorable. I highly recommend spending at least two nights at The Terraces next time you’re in Nepal - it’s a hidden paradise waiting for you just an hour outside the bustling city of Kathmandu - with a wonderful crew eager to give you a spectacular stay all year round but especially during the holiday season with their special holiday packages. Kindness, attentive at all times, quiet place with wonderful views, spa and incredible massages. Recommended to disconnect and charge with energy. Quality price very well, it is worth having an experience like this, it is what in the end we are going to take from this trip called life.

I enjoyed my stay here a lot! The view is amazing, very calm, people can easily relax here and escape from busy and noisy city. Staff is extremly kind and helpful. The other highlight of my stay was the morning joga session, I highly recommend to try it!:)
