阿爾德莫雷農場旅館(Ardmore Guest Farm)

Nous avons passé trois nuits à la ferme. Les enfants ont adoré nourrir tous les animaux. Mon fils de 4 ans a même pu faire un tour de poney. Nous avons bien mangé, les repas étaient bons et variés. Séjour idéal avec des enfants en bas âge (2 et 4 ans pour les nôtres). Les chambres sont un peu vieillissantes mais la literie confortable

Heel vriendelijk personeel en ruime cottage. De cottage had alles wat men nodig had hoewel de inrichting nogal aan de oude kant was. Je kan er dieren voederen en je kan rustig rondwandelen tussen de andere dieren. Het ontbijt was een buffet en vrij goed uitgebreid. Het diner was ook lekker en er was ook voldoende keuze.

We verbleven met 5 personen in huisje Yelowwood. Buitenkant huisje en ligging op het prachtige terrein perfect. Binnenkant huisje is zwaar gedateerd. Oud meubilair en inrichting. Twee zwaar verouderde badkamers. Er staat een whirlpool in maar het nodigt niet uit hier gebruik van te maken in een vieze, beschimmelde omgeving. Eigenaren supervriendelijk! Ze doen echt hun best en zijn communicatief. Ligging perfect en mooi. Leuk dat je kunt biljarten, tafeltennissen en darten! Voegt iets toe! De self-service bar is perfect. Jammer dat deze om 21u weg sluit. In de huisjes is een open haard. We hadden vooraf te horen gekregen dat er voor een uur hout in lag en dat we anders zelf hout bij moesten kopen. Helaas was het erg slecht een dun hout en was het vuur na 15 min. uit en werd het te koud om te blijven zitten. We konden op dat moment ook geen hout meer bijkopen. Dus ik raad de eigenaren aan deze huisjes echt te gaan renoveren. Andere vloer.. meer sfeer in de inrichting stoppen. Badkamers echt renoveren! Iets meer service qua open haard. Meer en beter hout bijvoorbeeld. Wat ook nog leuk zou zijn (maar dat us een tip) is om een Braai (BBQ) pakket aan te bieden zodat je in de tuin kunt bbq-en.. de sfeer en omgeving nodigt het uit!

This guest farm is simply amazing. Everything was just perfect, the room, the meals, the wonderful places they’re surrounded with. But the thing that really made me love this place was the kindness of the people. Everyone there was perfect. A special mention goes to Jason, who was really very very kind and so helpful with us! The night we arrived we were late and we arrived when the kitchen was already closed. He managed to make us find a complete dinner in our room, and it was so nice! And Drakensberg Region is so wonderful that I really wish I could be back sometimes.

Incredibly friendly staff and always very helpful. Food is divine and loved the fact that we could choose our three course meal from a menu with various options. Lots of activities close by, which the Ardmore team arranges for you. Which adds a lot of convenience and ease of mind, so that we could simply enjoy our honeymoon.

We received a very warm welcome by the owner and immediately felt at home. He explained everything around and was very friendly. There are lots of animals on the farm and they seemed well taken care off. You can even feed them and pet them if you want to. I can really recomment that you join for dinner there. They give you multiple options you can pick from and it was all equally delicious. The rooms themselves were very luxurious. Even though we visited in winter, they weren't too cold. Everything was nice and clean and we can't complain about anything. Overal, we highly recommand you stay here if you're in the area!

My partner and I went for our anniversary and we had the best time, the staff that work at Ardmore are incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, sometimes a little bit to much, but always good, the rooms are spacious and very clean. I would recommend anyone staying here

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Ardmore Guest House. The view of the Drakensberg mountains is exquisite. Great hospitality, lovely food at the restaurant, great walks and mountain bike trails and just a good wholesome berg stay. We will definitely be back

Ardmore is a relaxing tranquil farm. Foods was excellent.the staff are very friendly. Our group will definitely visit again. The entertainment area was a great way to relax as well. We loved the animals 🤗
