Customer service was great!

If you're looking for a standard experience hotel stay, this isn't it. I should have read into the name "Extended Stay" more. The setup is somewhere between a hotel room and an apartment. There is no carpeting, and there is a sp****ly furnished kitchenette. You will need to ask for items like shampoo and a hair dryer (which they ran out of). The bathroom is one large wet area, and the underside of the toilet seat was not cleaned. Walls were thin, and I could hear conversations through them. The first night, someone pounded on my door after 10 pm. When I looked out the peephole, noone was there. All in all a weird experience for me. The staff was friendly, but it looked like it was one guy who was doing everything. This place is more suited to people who have with them more of the basics, or who are staying long enough that they would be inclined to go and buy them.

Had a great stay here for three nights during a work trip. The room and hotel had all of the amenities that I needed and the front desk staff (Mark and Shay) were incredibly kind, understanding and accommodating. This particular ESA is without question the nicest I have stayed at. Look no further for a budget-friendly stay in the San Mateo area.

Typical Extended Stay America (ESA). Lets face it, ESA’s are not high end hotels and the clientele can be sketchy which is why I don’t frequent them. Also, ESA’s don’t provide shampoo and lotions - a la Motel 6, so don’t forget to bring your own. But I needed a place close to where I was visiting with laundry, so I pulled the trigger on this one. All in all, it was quiet, clean, lots of parking, mini-kitchen with utensil’s, and overall met my needs. I don’t generally recommend ESA’s to anyone, but this one was not bad. Take that for what it’s worth and roll the dice if you want.

According to Extended Stay America, Premier Suites are supposed to feature an "elevated experience" with "fully equipped kitchens" and a "free healthy breakfast" among other things. However, this hotel is extremely basic. They have a completely unstocked kitchenette, you have to ask for cups, dishes, silverware, pans, etc. and walk down to the desk to get them. There is one small bar of soap, but no shampoo, cups, coffee, or any of the things you get in a basic hotel. They only provide housekeeping once a week and won't come sooner even when asked. If you ask for more towels, they tell you to bring the used ones down to the front desk before they will give you more. The provided "breakfast" includes coffee, granola bars, and packaged muffins with a few yogurts until they run out and there is nowhere to sit and eat it. Coffee is also only provided during that short window when "breakfast" is set out, there was none when we left at 5am for the airport. Our room was clean, but not amazing with almost no water pressure and a bad leak in the shower.

帰国前の２日間（独立記念日含）に宿泊。クルマ利用でないと不便な場所にあるが、クルマで10分以内にセーフウェイやパンダエクスプレスなどがあり生活に不便はない。一般的なエクステンデッドステイアメリカとは異なり高級版の設定なのか部屋も綺麗で設備（キッチンウェアはフロントで借りるタイプ）も整っているので再度利用したいと思った。朝食はコーヒーとシリアル、スナック程度だげ自炊前提なら問題なし。
