I'll start with the good - there was plenty of parking and the bed was comfortable! As for the rest of the Willows, the building is old, the inside is tired, run down and in need of complete refurbishment - as a bare minimum, the whole place needs a really good clean. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and at best functional. The carpets in the corridors are rucked up and serious trip hazards; the fire doors have holes in them where handles have been changed (what sort of fire door is that?). You get the gist... They are understaffed - we had to wander around the building trying to find someone to serve us at the bar on our first night. On the second night, there were just 2 young and inexperienced staff behind the bar despite there being a function for over 100 people. The wait was ridiculous, the staff didn't know their red wines from their white, and the drinks were overpriced - £1.70 for a dash of blackcurrant, £6.50 for a pint of beer! As for security, it's a joke. On returning to our room one evening we found that the cleaner had opened the window and left it wide open all day - and I mean WIDE open. Bearing in mind the room was on the ground floor, anyone could have climbed in and helped themselves to our belongings. The whole experience is one I would not choose to repeat. I have just tried to fill in the customer experience questionnaire, which Wyboston Lakes emailed a link for - but guess what... the link doesn't work! That sums up Wyboston Lakes and the Willows.

Tucked away behind a petrol station with a M&S and beside a dual carriageway and train line. Not the ideal location for many but it was a very reasonable deal between Christmas and New Year. A taxi into Bedford was around £9/10 each way. We stayed 2 nights. Very friendly and professional staff. Despite the location the room was very quiet and comfortable with secondary glazing. A nice modern bathroom and clean. Only let down with the room was the bed. Only a double and being a tall couple it wasn’t very comfortable for us. It moved a lot too whenever one of us moved. Breakfast is a reasonable selection. Only served until 9:30 in the week. 10:00 would be better for us but not the end of the world. The lay out of the dining area was a bit messy with odd chairs etc and awkward for people to move through and the kids tv blaring out was annoying. Would definitely stay again though especially at the price we paid.

Fantastic. Greeted by a friendly and cheerful lady who then personally shows you to your room. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and nothing g too much trouble (Emilia) lovely girl and then breakfast in the morning sun again very friendly lady serving breakfast. Felt like you knew everybody. Rooms beautiful and food great. Would recommend

At least 3 times a year a group if us go for a quilting retreat. All the feedback is so positive. Great staff, friendly, welcoming, flexible. So clean and food- overfed and so much choice. Booked for 3 events in 2023 already and about to book for 2024. So glad we found this place.

爲了家庭服務住在這裏,有三個房間工作人員真的很樂於助人和友好,並給了我們擴展部分的相鄰房間。這些房間看起來是新的,而且條件很好三個小問題酒店很忙,半學期了,工作人員很忙地接待客人,所以下午晚些時候酒吧的服務不可避免地很慢停車場很大但是當我們回來的時候對面的收割機很忙,我們不得不停在遠處,如果你有行李的話,那將不方便。我早上能把車開動偶爾咖啡比平常的快遞標準要好,但鹹肉和雞蛋令人失望,但總的來說,這個品牌的咖啡比一般的要好
