Me and my partner stay in this hotel for couple of night. Right in the centre of Thamel yet far from the city chaos. Staffs were helpful, friendly, accomodation was comfortable, morning breakfast was yummy specially the allo paratha. Good service, good location,good price. Can organise a cab driver for sightseeing too at reasonable price which is great.

Buddhi and his colleagues are hospitable and humorous, providing you with a wonderful experience and a sense of comfort. This is a guesthouse with distinct Nepalese characteristics. Some famous scenic spots in Kathmandu are nearby. Even if you just stay in the guesthouse,relaxing, looking into the distance and enjoying the garden view are all pleasant pleasures. The environment is clean and elegant. There is a dedicated kitchen here, offering meals, which are authentic and delicious! The boss is running it with great care!

We were at the hotel before the trek and it was such a good experience that we came back after it too! Lovely staff - Ramesh and Lakpa They help with everything needed and are always available. Excellent laundry service and pleasant, clean rooms with air conditioning. good price! Central location, a bit noisy

Great experience and amazing food, the owners are amazing and they are always willing to help you out. You will not be disappointed in your stay there is airport pick up and drop. There is a sleek model finishing and ac is every room it is a garden paradise in a concrete jungle.

Le Rhododendron is truly special – a peaceful oasis a 5 minute walk from the noise and bustle of Thamel. Hari continues to genuinely care for his guests. He made us feel very welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had an extremely comfortable stay. The hotel was spotless, the breakfast first class and his hospitality second to none. Hari somehow manages to combine making you feel like family, yet also like honoured guests – a wonderful combination. Each day started with a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast on the sunny rooftop terrace ( including the best coffee I had in Nepal). The shower is hot, with good pressure, the bedding, linen etc, spotless and the wi-fi and electricity reliable. Hari is ready to assist with any logistical challenge and often anticipated our needs. A stay at Le Rhododendron will be one of the highlights of your trip to Nepal and worth staying in Kathmandu for an extra few days.
