Staff Woke up my family at 12:15 am due to they had a computer glitch. Driving back from Florida due to so many flights were cancelled. Check in here at 945pm. Our first room was horrible, It was dirty, ( floors, table and desk. ) I went and asked for some cleaner. They gave it to me, Went back to ask for lines for the pull out sofa, they gave it me. Pulled out the bed and it was just trashed. It was on an angle, then I noticed a dripping shower faucet. The nice lady changed our room without any issue. This room was fine Went to sleep and a little after midnight the hotel phone rang. I answered it and could not hear anybody, so I hung up. It rang again, I could barley hear some one on the other end. I told them that. I hung up. 5 minutes later someone was banging on my door and woke up my 2 kids. I asked who it was , they said they were from the front desk. Once I opened the door there were 2 young men, in street clothes and no name tags, smocks, nothing to identify them as employees. I clothes the door behind me immediately. They said their is an issue with our room reservation. And Said if your from the front desk lets go down there. Now down at the front desk they were a few people checking in. They were checking in an lady and I had her reservation somehow. Someone made an error when they switched out rooms. So I asked, what does that have to do with me? They knew my name from the computer so it wasn't that they did not know were in our new room for the past three hours. I asked again, so you guys made some error, why would you wake up my kids and I in the middle of the night. I them asked for their names , they REFUSED to give me there names. Then they asked me to leave. At this point I was really upset and told them no, They said they are calling the police. I said great, lets see what happens when the police get here. Once the police came, the police ( county officers ) were extremely nice and professional. They talked to the front desk and me separately and immediately took our side. They stated that waking up anybody in the middle of the night , without employee identification it could of turned out extremely bad. The officer said they are staying here tonight and you owe them an apology. The young man apologized to my wife several times. So now we are able to go to bed, but now its 230 am. And kind of hard to just fall asleep after such an ordeal. When we checking out the new front desk lady handed me a bill with the full price. I asked here are you aware of the situation last night? She said yes . I heard you were threatening and violent. My wife stated, the police were here. The lady said I know that too, If my husband was violent the police would of had an issue with that and he would have been arrested. I asked is that a normal policy for this hotel's employees to wake guests up? Get this, she said that only one of the men work here. WHAT??? So you allow an employee and his ”friend ” wake people up? My wife asked for he
