"I told the owners, Doris and Larry, that I can't believe they don't charge more for this remarkable place. From the moment we arrived, we were floored with every detail. There were fresh home made cookies waiting for us. [ and they were AMAZING ] The entire house is absolutely stunning, beautifully restored, and top of the line. The outside areas/garden are gorgeous. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. Larry recommended some fantastic local dining for dinner on our first night; I went with his exact suggestion to down to the order. And I was glad I did! I truly felt as if all of my needs were gently met with a personal touch. Every time I turned around, the dining table was set with a beautiful new cloth and arrangement. The bedding was comfortable, I slept like a baby, but that seems like a small detail compared to the overall experience. If that's all you care about- you'll sleep comfortably. Breakfast was phenomenal. We ate a wonderful home cooked meal with real silver and 5 star service, but it felt like getting spoiled by my grandparents again. I truly adored these people. It was plain to see the lovely owners have a genuine passion for hospitality. That passion really makes a significant difference. Really I can't rave about the experience enough. If you're passing through Adairsville, skip on a hotel and treat yourself to Adair Manor. You won't regret it. "

"We spent a weekend at the Barnsley Resort for a work event. It was fabulous! The cottages are designed with every detail in mind. Everything is reflective of Georgian history and the local area. Grounds were impeccable and food was wonderful! The staff and their customer service were also top notch! True southern hospitality."
