明懷莫爾飯店(Min y Mor Hotel)

So my partner surprised me with a weekend at the beach. On the beach we were!! A tidy hotel, amazing staff and the beach is right across the road. Small walk into Barmouth and it’s very dog friendly. Our Dave the Dog appreciated the extra sausages! The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing! Clean, friendly, lovely garden with a beach view. No complaints here!!

The Main y Mor is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at when we first arrived the staff were rude and unwelcoming,my daughter asked how they were and they ignored her not only that they are incredibly unhelpful because when we asked for a heater they blatantly refused coming up with lousy excuses furthermore the place is unsanitary as when I opened the draws in our room I found food still in the draw and dust invading everywhere not only that I could see the fingerprints of previous guests on the window,the food itself was horrible overcooked and I even found hair in it,the owner is incredibly greedy and is incredibly awkward. Overall I loathed this place and would never return -10/10

Every time we visit the min-y-mor hotel over the years we are always happy with the hotel, amazed by the very friendly staff, they can’t do enough no matter what you ask. all the new improvements since Our last visit outside and in. The outside bar is a great improvement as in the coming summer it’ll be great when you just what to enjoy as much of the weather as possible, people who don’t like the sun can take advantage of the little huts and stay in the shade.our grandchildren love coming to stay as the beautiful beach is so close we can’t keep them out of the sea. Already looking forward to our next already booked visit.

We stayed with my elderly parents and our dog and I can honestly say nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff Room 18 has the best view in Barnmouth!! We stayed from Friday to Monday and ate all our evening meals here as had a great choice Will definitely be back!

On arrival and entering the room the first thing I noticed was the dust on top of the headboard which made me look further. The bedside cabinets and lights were filthy, not sering a duster for a very long time. My wife and I did our own deep clean BUT there was NO hot water. The shower riser was hanging off the wall, the curtains are hanging off the rail, there is damp running down the wall into the light switch. The door to the room is supposed to be a fire door, however if ever, you can get your fingers in the gap between the door and frame, the door from 1st floor to top floor was continually getting propped open with a fire extinguisher!!!!!!! As for the food...........WELL, I wouldn't feed it to a dog. I have photos of my cutlery standing up in my steak pie if it was that dry if anyone would like to see it. BREAKFAST, we were told that we didn't have an option not to pay for breakfast as it was fully inclusive. My wife explained she never eats breakfast but was still charged for it. Really not a good experience for our 1st Anniversary

Me and my husband booked into the min y mor hotel for our 1st wedding anniversary, we love barmouth, so when i booked, the lady said it was £130 a night including breakfast, even though i don't do breakfast, i learnt later on from a couple who stayed there that they just booked a room with no breakfast, i never got the option to book a room with no breakfast, which is bad trying to fleece people, so i paid for breakfast that i didn't have, not happy. Got to the room, nice view of the sea, lovely room, till you look properly there was dust on top of the headboard, side tables the chair, evening meal wasn't up to scratch either, dry and tasteless, no floor mat for when you get out of shower either, it puts us off going again, but we didn't let it spoil our anniversary

We asked to move room as it only had a bath. We were advised to request a shower room i've never stayed in a hotel that hasnt had a shower!! The bath was chipped. The rooms were tired looking, the beds uncomfortable with cheap mattresses. The breakfast choice could be improved for the cost The restaurant is closed on a Tues. This a a Hotel!!!! Staff were friendly.

first impression of hotel,from outside scruffy,reception,scruffy,kept waiting at reception,to book in,good start,dreading going in room,plucked up courage to open door,decent sized room,clean,plaster peeling off wall,ripped shabby looking chair,marked scuff marks on furniture,big holes on the walls,that been plastered over,filthy windows,dirty cup hadn't been cleaned properly,shame,as the money I've paid for the holiday,I don't feel was that cheap,was dreading going for breakfast,but breakfast was quite nice,and fresh and hot,everything else does not have a very good professional feel to it.dont think would stay here again..

Poor customer services and staff where abrupt and not welcoming. Hot room and no provision of a fan.
