Unacceptable service. We had a reservation for 01/11/2024, due to the floods that occurred in the country and as we were in a neighboring city of the affected one, it was impossible for us to go to Barcelona as the railway network had been cut and there was no other transport available. In communication the day before with some of the staff we had informed about the difficulty of the situation and the reason for cancellation was not because we did not want the room. The next day even Booking had contacted them to cancel and refund us the amount due to the situation prevailing in the whole country but they did not accept it and in an email they accused us of lying while in a previous conversation on 18/ 10/2024 we had informed them that we did not know our arrival time because we would be in the other city where we had mentioned the exact name so they knew it. As there is no humanity and understanding of the tragic situation prevailing in their own country, we are sorry but we will not prefer the hotel again nor recommend it.
