I took my daughter on a mother daughter trip. We stayed only 1 night. The hotel staff went above and beyond. They were so incredibly helpful! They allowed us to check in early the day we arrived and even allowed a late checkout the following day! They were so helpful getting the free bike rental, even brought a toothbrush to my room when I realized I had forgotten mine. Amazing staff.
This hotel was cute, very close to the beach and not to far to get to shops. We didn't have a carso we walked or rode bikes everywhere. It's an older hotel, the floors have not been updat, but the beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
I truly Enjoyed Sarah so much!!! I will be back & im praying she is there. She was so funny , so fun, gave amazing suggestions that we took to order. Will be back mainly for her, the food is just a plus lol. The bacon eggs & mimosa was the BOMB. Must come back to try the brunch board
JJet51285672871Despicable customer service from ALLIE the front desk manager. Our reservation was September 26-27, 2024. One day before the reservation, September 25, Florida received official declaration of Hurricane Helene. My White Coat Ceremony in Ft Lauderdale was also cancelled due to the hurricane. I called and spoke with Allie and asked if the hotel was allowing cancellations in regards to the hurricane. Allie said ”No. The cancellation window has passed and the hurricane is not likely to affect their hotel location. Other guests have already called the hotel about their flights being affected, so you are not the first person.” A few hours after the phone call, Ft Lauderdale mandated that schools were closed Sep 26 and 27, the city is now under a tropical storm watch and tornado, with expected hurricane and possible closing of beaches. Please help me understand the lack of consideration for the safety of their guests and employees. Allie went on to tell me the only option she can offer is to move the reservation to a future date but that would make the reservation non-refundable and that she can only move the date one time. My response to this: the reservation is already non-refundable so really you are only giving me a date change. But how can I give you a date when I do not know what the conditions will be after the hurricane and you require that I give you the new date right now. I decided to go forward with the reservation when Tampa received mandatory evacuation. When we arrived at 3pm, it was torrential downpour at the hotel and their amenities were closed: no beach chairs, no towel service, signs in our room telling us to keep the patio doors closed. The city had patrol cars on the beach telling people to get out of the water. So again, tell me are these safe conditions for a beachfront hotel and should the hotel have responded better to the situation by allowing guests more flexibility to move their reservation dates? Allie even told me that the hotel is offering no resort fees this week ”to sell out rooms for the season”. It gives the impression of profit focused. Unbelievable considering their actions during Hurricane Helene. I have received much better customer service from other hotels in the past during situations like this where they have gone above and beyond to move reservations including giving a full refund past the cancellation window!
We have stayed at this hotel about 4 times before we go on cruises. We like the location as it is near restaurants, shopping and a Publix. The pool is very nice as is the employees. The breakfast is ok. The rooms could use a little refresh. They also have a shuttle ($9) that will take you to the port or airport. Very convenient.
KkirasG1564DXWhile the 2 rooms we rented are clean, the hallways on the 3rd &4th (I didn't check more of them) floors smell like a combination of raw sewage and mildew. One of our rooms has so much rose scented air freshener, to hide the fecal/mildew smell that we couldn't stay in the room! A call to the front desk didn't help. So I called the parent company, IHG, and had them open a case. They called the front desk who now came up with the idea of sending an ozone machine to the more offensive room... So now we're all in the less offensive (but still mildew smelling) room until 10:40pm, because nobody can be in the other room while the ozone machine is running! We don't know if the machine will help. The hotel is sold out. Every time someone gets out of the elevator (onto the 3rd or 4th floor), they comment/complain about the stench. Management is trying to pretend they don't notice any issues. They did offer us 1000 points as an apology (the rooms cost 23000 points, each!!!) - that's like offering a $5.00 apology. That's no apology, that won't even cover the Tylenol we need to combat the headache the horrible smells are giving all 4 of us!!! Don't make the mistake of staying here!
