This is the best hotel to stay, location is just 2 mins walk from Bangor bus station, if you are driving free parking, beds very comfortable, staff very friendly, very clean, good breakfast and value for money is almost £100 cheaper a night from staying in city and only 20 mins drive from centre. I would stay again. Very quite rooms.

The hotel is great value for money with a family room with air con at less than 90 pounds. The staff at the hotel is awesome and is always ready to help. Special shout out to Georgie who helped us check-in and also was at the bar and restaurant when we went to grab a few drinks and some finger foods. He was always willing to help. We need more Georgies in the hospitality industry.

Room was very clean and staff were lovely!! However, the room was very very hot throughout the night wasn’t able to open a window due to the second floor nor, was there air conditioning! So my partner didn’t get much sleep! The second floor anytime someone showered or used the toilet you were able to hear the drains. My partner slipped in the bath as he was taking a shower, he didn’t realise there was a tiny sign saying “for a bath mat to speak to reception”. Went for breakfast the next morning and the food had been sitting under the heat lamps, scrambled egg was hard. Food just wasn’t to a satisfactory standard! I witnessed the chef stand running his hands through his hair then put his cap back on and walked into the kitchen with a man’s croissant.

Bed springs noisy if you so much as move a bit while tying to sleep. Air conditioning/water system made gurgling noises periodically for minutes keeping us awake. Ran out of some items at breakfast. Room not ready when checking in but they did sort out within 15 minutes.

This was a reunion so it had to satisfy several people. I think it did just that. Jen from Chorley and her excellent team were lovely and welcoming. Nothing was a problem. We had breakfast each day. The only fault was that the bacon was cold and hard. Though with a buffet system I’m not sure of a solution. The room was clean and extremely quiet though the bed creeped a lot! Mattress seemed new but I prefer the older style ones. Just personal preference. All in all a fabulous time and certainly an hotel I would recommend.

Second floor rooms arent great. Didn't sleep due to the sound of the drains and water. So anytime other guests showered or used bathroom you could hear the water through the ceiling and walls. It is in good location and staff are helpful but some of the rooms do not offer a good night sleep.
