What once was my “go to” hotel in BKK has really gone downhill. The hotel has had little upkeep and it shows. The service, the smile entering the hotel - that’s gone. Expect a guy playing in the corner on a computer whenever you enter. The shuttle bus is gone. The breakfast is gone. I understand the pandemic hit hotels hard, but other hotels in the area seem to be back to normal service levels.
The location and rooms are great, just hopefully the service levels returns as the experience this time was “meh”
