One word, horrible! This morning before checking in, I called in the hotel around 9 AM to check whether the room that I booked have bath tub, after confirming the type of room that I booked, unfortunately, it does not hence I told them that I would want to pay for an upgrade but they said they are fully booked. Coming in at 12 PM, the room is not ready, hence we waited for 2 hours as they said the room is being prepared and will be ready at 2 PM. 2 hours later, got the room key and to our surprise, the room is supposed to be vacant, out of order as they are fixing some stuffs in the room. Called the front office and told them about the problem, they admitted that it is their fault and they will try to find the available room. Whilst waiting, we are sitting in front of the room. 50 minutes later, still got no rooms for us. They then decided to fix the room that was initially for us, 3.30 PM we finally got a room. And guess what the compensation is? Lunch without drinks and welcome drinks, and they said this is their highest compensation level. For 5 stars hotel, this surely a very low level compensation. It is purely their fault and they still said that the compensation is enough? Ah forgot to add one thing, I have a baby with me as well, waiting in hot weather for 3 hours and 30 minutes in total is a total disaster. On top of it, I have reconfirmed my booking this morning before checking in, this surely the most memorable and worst experience.
