I am expressing so much gratitude for Gaia Retreat Center. I hosted a retreat for ten ladies and the support I received in organizing the retreat was outstanding. The center is walking distance to many shops and stores, the food served was AMAZING, the energy of the space and the staff was more than a positive experience. Agung was absolutely delightful in providing a customized experience for my group with her amazing story telling and details on the history behind the excursions we took. The beds were soft and plush which helped all of us have a sound and peaceful sleep waking up to the sounds of birds chirping every morning. Again, THE FOOD was amazing— the plant based and raw vegan selections we were served was by far the best food we had during our stay in Ubud.

I loved my time at Gaia! My hope was to go on a deeply relaxing and restorative retreat, to sit in some silence but also to enjoy the bubbling beauty of Ubud. That's what I experienced - and more. Glenn, Agung and the staff were professional, accomplished, kind, friendly and helpful. They cared for us so thoughtfully. My schedule was well-set but also easy and flexible. I appreciated the considered approach to the outings they suggested we go on. The water temple visit was very special. The massages, food, juices and room all exceeded expectations. I also loved using the pool, sauna, ice bath and spa, and it was lovely just spending relaxing time both alone and with other like-minded souls. I greatly enjoyed having time doing my TM retreat with Wayan Sutrisna - he is a very experienced, generous and dedicated TM teacher. The daily yoga classes were also a perfect blend of gentle, peaceful but thorough. The bedding was of a very high quality - soft and natural fibres, great mattress and pillows. My expectations were genuinely exceeded, and I'm already thinking about returning again next year! Thank you to the very cohesive and happy team at Gaia!

This retreat is perfectly located within walking distance of downtown, but still feels like an oasis. It was also not far from the Pyramids of Chi and several water temples. The accommodations were very nice and the chef who served the food was amazing. We had vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat options available, along with fresh juices. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with airport pickup, laundry service, and taxi service to nearby locations. Can't wait to go back for another stay!

I spent one week in Villa Gaia with my students and it was my best yoga retreat ever! All was just perfect! Excellent service, food and rooms. The best location close to the centre of Ubud but in a quiet area far from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. The most beautiful view while practising yoga in an outdoor shala. It was easy to go deep into your practise and calm down busy mind being present and experiencing subtle sounds of nature. After practise you can refresh yourself in a pool or relax your body with one of the massages. Stuff was always there, ready to help with any problem. Miss Agung was not only a perfect host, but also a great dancer and a trip guide. She was incfredibly caring,alway ready to help and perfect organised. I haven't experienced such kindness and commitment in a long time! Thank you so much to the owner Glenn, I had the pleasure of guiding you through your pracise, thank you to Noura, who was the first to organise everything from the beginning, thank you to Miss Agung for making me feel at home. I already miss my days in Villa Gaia, starting to plan my next visit :)

Super grateful. Came here for a community singing and dinner event and it was incredible. I’m so glad I got to see it in the day too. It’s beautiful, comfortable, spacious, well-designed for connection and transformation experiences. Plus the food is beyond amazing - healthy, colourful, tasty, and the space is just stunning!

I had a great stay at Gaia Retreat Center for the 5 Day Detox. I felt at home from Day 1. The room was beautiful, the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff was extremely attentive and flexible. The cook is fantastic for the lunch juices and the evening soups. I really enjoyed the programme, the yoga and balinese massages. I warmly recommend the Transcendetal meditation with Wayan. Thanks to the whole Gaia team for this memorable stay.

Absolutely loved my experience at Villa Gaia. The staff is friendly accommodating and efficient. The location is amazing with a beautiful jungle view, pool and sauna yet close to town. I also loved all the delicious vegan food that was catered there. This place is a real jem and perfect for small retreats. Highly recommended!

A beautiful quiet oasis in Ubud which was perfect to relax and restore. The staff are lovely and supportive and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Facilities are clean and well kept, and rooms are spacious and comfortable. I felt well supported through my detox.

An amazing retreat centre that has incredible service, food and rooms. All my participants on my retreat were extremely happy. It’s located in a nice area of Ubud and quiet which is nice escape from the noise of the cars and dogs. Agung is amazing and her team will cater for any of your needs to ensure your retreat runs as smoothly as possible.
