費爾格朗茲貝斯特韋斯特飯店(Best Western the Inn at the Fairgrounds)

This hotel was good, but not great. Pluses for friendly staff, convenience of a really nice restaurant on site and a nice breakfast buffet. However, after I checked in and went my room, I found it had not been cleaned after the previous guest. I mentioned this to the housekeeper, who was close by and when I returned later the room had been tidied up…but the previous guest’s soiled bath towels were still on the bathroom door hook! This made me question the overall cleanliness of the room, but nothing else as obvious stood out to me. Otherwise, it was ok. As I was just there one night for the convenience of being very close to where I had business the next day, I didn’t have an opportunity to see how housekeeping would follow up on another nights stay, so my grade is provisional. I would stay here again though, as the pluses outweighed the minuses.

Never Again! I travel to Syracuse to take care of my elderly family. The place is dirty. Sink was clogged with razor stubble (not mine). Hallways are ice cold, no heat on. I think I was 1 or 3 guests there during my stay. Front desk demands cash only for soda or water. No debit card or putting it on the room bill. Used to be a very nice place but has gone downhill significantly. The last time we stayed there, my wife got COVID, this time both of us came down with the Flu!!! Gross, never again!!!!!

Pretty bare bones in regards to amenities. No microwave in room, contrary to what description online stated. minimal breakfast options. Shower pressure and temp suboptimal. The room was pretty clean, though!

Staff is rude and indifferent. You have to ask for housekeeping daily. We learned this after inquiring on the 3rd day of our stay when the woman at the desk pointed to a tiny sign at the farthest edge of the counter stating that due to COVID, they didnt offer housekeeping without a request. Weather was snowy but the parking lot was not plowed. Walls are paper-thin, we heard our neighbors talking and TV as if we were in their room. On a whole, we got a decent bed but not much else. There are better hotels in the area.

Room was clean during our stay, until we asked after 3 days. Cleaned once and phone charger was taken out of the room. Keys continuously did not work.

Poor customer experience started at checkin, woman was not friendly. So many signs, they contradict each other. Hard to find workers for fresh towels. I had to walk into laundry room myself towels. Dirty, run down.

No one was at the front desk to check in. When she did arrive did not tell me anything about the hotel or WiFi. The smells of the hallways and rooms were musty. The saving grace of the hotel was the steakhouse Daniellas. Amazing food, service and quality of food. You need to make a reservation but they do allow walkins. During the fair time traffic is horrible. If it wasn't for the fair I wouldn't have stayed here.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and available early. Our stay was very pleasant.

I wasnt happy that they advertised a full breakfast and it wasnt. It was just toast and cereal from what i could see.
