We had a fabulous time visiting this I believe newly opened hotel! As the lounge is only opening later this month we have received alternative offerings in the bar which were delicious. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to come back once the lounge has opened!
The place is nice as a family, has 2 rooms and a kitchen. But the sofa is basically unusable as it's so uncomfortable. The beds are way too soft and the mattress topper keeps sliding down and you have a lot less bed. Pillows are also very flimsy. Kitchen is ok. ”Sharp” knife and scissors don't cut. Washing machine but no place to hang clothes. NO HOOKS IN THE BATHROOMS. All your towels will stay crumbled somewhere. So much room for improvement and it wouldn't even cost that much.
Stayed here with my family (2 sons, 11 and 13.) The hotel was very kid friendly- my kids were greeted and they had a play area (with a video game) and a few games for the room. The location was great- about a 5 min walk to the Deutsches Museum and about 15 walk to Marienplatz, but seemed to be off the beaten tourist path. The area felt very safe, and there was a small mall next door that had 2 grocery stores in it (great for simple meals!). It also had a subway stop (Rosenheimer Platz), where all the main lines stopped. The room itself was great. My kids enjoyed the free minibar (but I was told this was being discontinued.) The pool was nice- the kids loved it! It is smaller than it looks in the pictures and was too cold for me. The bathroom was nice- the toilet is separate from the shower/sink/tub area. The sink area had the best lighting of any hotel bathroom I've ever stayed in. Plenty of hot water, and my kids were amused that there was a TV speaker in the shower area. If we return to Munich, we would definitely stay here again!
Tucked away in a leafy neighborhood, this Marriott is full of amenities like a swim pool/sauna,steam bath, fun bar and restaurant and five minutes walk to the subway to get any where you want. The rooms are clean, comfortable and beds are super comfortable. Best of all the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Best stay in Munich

Perfect for one night on trip to italy, We had a double/connected family room, it was very good. Personally missed the airconditioning but that was no surprise as is was not on the list for the room. Restaurant was good for diner and breakfest, food and drinks are good. Charging electric car is no problem, space for 4 cars next to main entrance.
訪訪客I'm really conflicted about this hotel, in some ways it's a great hotel and in others not so much. I'll start with check in, I booked a ”Queen bed” which to me means bigger than double especially as there is an option for just a double. so had to pay to upgrade to a ”executive room” which had the bigger bed, so another €60 on to our bill, but was discounted from €90. room was big, bed was very big and very comfortable. had to ask for a kettle (had a coffee machine but no kettle) had a minibar so a fridge which the first room didn't have even tho website says a minibar. all rooms have balconies but no furniture out there so I had to ask for chairs, also dont think the balconies have been cleaned in a while, i left foot prints in the dust. bathroom was old and needs refurbishment, shower pressure is rubbish, water drains very slowly and bath has all gone rusty. our first room was right next to the second room and overlooked some car park but then right next to it is a factory and then behind that some excavation work is taking place, the 1st night all was quiet as it was Easter but the second night from 3.30am lorries with there reversing noises where going on and that night the factory noise went on till almost 10pm. this is not the hotels fault- but if booking a room I would ask for a different location for room. breakfast was beautiful, everything u would want, all presented lovely and u could have omlette made to order. we used the resturant the 1st night, the food was very nice but very expensive- but we later found out this is how Germany is. Husband used the gym- mini gym as they call it and it is mini but it kept him happy for an hour. pool is a added bonus but pictures make it look bigger than it is, Sadly it was far too cold for me to get in and the steam/sauna are only turned on at certain times and we missed the time slot but they both looked good sizes. all the staff we came across, from reception, to restaurant and breakfast staff and especially the cleaners were lovely, very polite and helpful if u have any questions or requests. we would stay here again if it was the original price for the larger bed and if we had a different room location.
We thought this place was great. Its between two subway stops south of the old town, so a 5-8 minute walk depending on which one you choose. Both of these stops are just a few stops from the main train station. There was construction going on at the hotel while we were there, but we were informed of this in advance. As the Euro cup was going on at the time we had little choice for a reasonably priced room (meaning less than 275 euros/night), so we chose this one (for 224 euros for three people). The construction activity did not begin until after 9 am, so it was no issue, other than navigating scaffolding in front of the building, and there being workers right outside our window. Not problems for us. The room itself was great. It was one of the few of the ten we stayed at on this trip that had A/C or that had A/C that actually worked. Very cool during the hot weather we had during our stay. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. One thing that some people may not like is that the shower is separated from the room by a glass wall and a curtain. There is nothing hiding the front entry to the shower but it faces a wall and not the room. Bit of a privacy issue there, especially if traveling with teens. The toilet is in a separate tiny space with its own door (which slams shut loudly). This was nice in that someone could use the toilet while others used the shower or sink. They had very nice toiletries. Towels and bed linens were clean and fresh smelling. We found the beds extremely comfortable. Another reviewer mentioned the motion activated lighting under the bed. We've not seen this in any other hotel anywhere. It sounds nice but we found it quite bright, and took several minutes to turn off once activated, so it disturbed other sleepers in the room. We ended up stuffing pillows over them. But many travelers may find it a welcome feature. Breakfast was offered for about 19 euro/person but we chose not to get it. Found it strange that when my wife asked for a glass of orange juice in the morning she was told that was only available as part of the breakfast. The breakfast is held in their beautiful lobby/bar/restaurant/garden area. Really modern space. Some evenings the place is jumping with millenials having a blast. One thing to note, on Tuesdays they have a drink special and it seems like a quarter of the neighborhood is there for it. We weren't aware of this and couldn't understand why it took us over 45 minutes to get a drink and quite a while to get a food order put in. That said, the pizza (pinsa) was delicious if a tad pricey. We had many pizzas on this trip (my family does not like German food- so we went to Germany???) and this was one of the better ones for sure. Like I said, did take a while to order it and get it. Salads were definitely overpriced and unlike every other one we had on the trip it was quite puny. But the wait staff tried to smile through it all and did their best. In fact we found the
訪訪客Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Hotel.
訪訪客I booked this hostel last minute, and I've never stayed in a hostel before, so I can't really compare it to other places. Despite reading reviews on Hostelworld about the single rooms being hot, I have no complaints about the room. I stayed in Munich when the temperature had a low of 20 Celcius and a high of 30. I had no issues with the room. I did have a large fan on in the room, which kept it cool. My room also had its own balcony and I sat outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect for those who love their own space or couple. My only gripe was that the WiFi was slow at times, so I couldn't even search the website to test internet speed. I had a data roaming plan, so this wasn't that big of an issue. I would stay here again if I'm back in Munich. A Lidl at the end of the street and the Train station is a 2-minute walk away. It couldn't get better.
