Wonderful stay, great hotel, comfortable, bed and pillows, Conveniently, located close to everywhere. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of healthy and non sugar options. Staff are friendly and efficient Lisa. the barrister is an asset to the Hotel, she makes an excellent cappuccino, the way it should be made, perfect start to the day. Well done Adrian and Lewellyn, I will return.
We stayed here last night as we were going to The 10cc concert. Arrival was swift and easy and the room was already available. Our room was a junior suite facing North Terrace, it was clean and quiet. We enjoyed 2 complimentary drinks from the bar. They have refurbished the hotel but I think the bar looks a touch bland and not welcoming. I would have thought that there would have been sanitiser available on all levels by the lifts and in the room also. The shampoo, soap etc no longer comes as individual packs but huge bottles and being still in Covid times I thought this a bit off putting. Breakfast was ok nothing special and luckily we had ours included or it would have cost us $42.00 per person and it was not worth that much. The pre-made pancakes were freezing cold. There was a good range of cereals and the fruit plates were nice but had defrosted and tinned fruit also. I found all the supposedly hot foods not hot but cool venturing on cold and they need to do something about the baked beans as they were nasty. We had a slight hiccup on leaving as we were almost charged for two glasses of red wine which we quickly told the receptionist we never had. She amended that quickly so all good.
We stayed a Fri and Sat night in a balcony king room on second floor. Room was spacious and we loved the bath-through-the door Japanese vibe. Our balcony did look out onto Frome St (and the carpark across the road) - however the street is wide and there are vistas to the Adelaide hills and Botanic gardens in between buldings, so that was not a problem. Room was quiet, bed excellent, staff helpful. The huge pros of this hotel are the location - just off Rundle St, but at the quiet end. And being able to take our own wine and snacks up to the 5th floor roof garden to enjoy the view in the evenings. (Fridge is small, but adequate for storing wine and snacks!) Did not try the in-house restaurant because there are so many gorgeous eateries on lower Rundle St - and goodies to buy from the Adelaide market! A great, honest, unpretentious hotel offering sanctuary and calm. Highly recommended.
The room was comfy; The TV was a good size; The bed was a king size & good to sleep on. We had a buffet breakfast & dinner each day. The staff managed to keep up the service. The food was ok. The staff was extremely busy & run off their feet. A big thank you to Christian & Jane for looking after us. The site is the perfect location. Close to the city & landmarks. An ideal base to travel from to tourist destinations. We loved it.

We spent one night in Adelaide to attend my stepson's wedding at Chateau Apollo. Booked accommodation at the last minute and found something reasonably priced which looked good quality ... according to the photos. Booked through booking site Agoda. Wedding started at 2pm which is the standard hotel check-in time and as our flight arrived at 11.30am, we requested early check-in. This wasn't a problem. Michaela was working at reception when we arrived and was delightful. Not sure if she upgraded our room or not but the room was on the 7th floor, was huge and had a massive sun-filled balcony. Everything in the room was classy and clean. We knew the room came with a kettle and tea/coffee but I forgot to bring my own soy milk .... not an issue! Michaela directed us to the bar/dining area where a jug of soy milk was provided. Little things like this really make the difference between a standard hotel and a really great hotel! The venue was a mere 400 metres away so was an easy walk both there and back. The temperature control in the room was simple and effective. Slept the best night's sleep in ages. Breakfast was included and oh my goodness it was wonderful. We were greeted at breakfast by Nikki who gave us the biggest happiest greeting possible. I knew that vegan options at buffet breakfasts are traditionally slim .... but I was happily incorrect. The chef, Yifan prepared a full plate of cooked vegan goodness for me and I almost cried. I could have happily stayed here for a week. This place has really got it together. The staff appear happy to work there and it shows. Even if my husband and I don't have a reason to go to Adelaide, we can see ourselves booking a trip there, simply to stay at Mantra Hindmarsh Square.

訪訪客The Grand is without a doubt all about the location! Given it’s ocean front position it should offer an absolute premium experience but instead falls a little short as it continues to date without much sign of refurbishment. The rooms are basic, the carpets old, the furnishings aging and everything just feels in need of some love. Bathrooms still have showers over the bath with shower curtains and the air con in the room wasn’t very effective (too hot despite being on the coolest setting). There was also a wedding being hosted during my 1 night stay and despite my room being on the 5th floor (ballroom is on level 1), I could hear the band/music until the end of the reception at 11:30pm. On the positive (besides premium location), the staff at reception / concierge were excellent. They greeted with absolute care on arrival and happiness during check out, despite being early in the morning. It felt like they enjoyed what they did and that’s so good to see in customer facing roles. Worth considering this hotel for a stay, just as long as you’re happy with basic ammenities in a great location.
PPei YeingThe bed sheet was mould.
Is good to have storage with your bed but I did not use it as too big and not very convenient to have it.
The restroom is on the corridor of the floor and clean all the time when I use
The location is very close to public transport and walking distance to flinder street.
訪訪客用戶March 2024 Here is a list of issues you may have to deal with: 1. Lights are weirdly wired. You can’t turn on the bathroom lights without having the rest of the lights on. This is problematic when one is sharing the apartment and one needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. Other guests staying at the apartments had the same issue. 2. It is stated that the apartment has Netflix but it does not work. When I mentioned it to the marketing girl she said she would have it looked at but no one came to the apartment to repair the problem. Again, other guests staying in the apartments had the same issue. 3. When we arrived on the 13th, there was only one tea bag instead of 2. I was sharing the room with my husband, that is not thoughtful, obviously we would have needed 2 teabags. 4. We stayed 5 nights and only had the room serviced once. I had left the tag to service the room but it was only done once. 5. On the Saturday our room was finally serviced but they did not replenish the toilet paper and we were left with none which meant we had to purchase toilet paper as there was no one in reception. If conveniences and service isn't important to you then by all means stay here. The apartments are just off the main road that have lots of great cafes and restaurants. The apartments are brand new, fresh, clean and modern. The staff are helpful and listen to concerns you may have. Read less Tip: An apt description for this place is Location, Location, Location. The apartments are brand new so they are clean, fresh & modern.
訪訪客The receptionist we were greeted by seemed disinterested and preoccupied with appearance more than substance and just waffled off directions on where to park our car and how to get to our room in a rather vague manner. My wife and I were not any wiser and were left wondering. After locating what we believed was the car park we were directed to it turned out to be the local council offices car park with clearly “ no parking except council vehicles” signs posted all over. Back to reception to check on the correct parking spot and we were greeted with a different person who proceeded to advise us that the 10 car parks against the back wall was for hotel guests, and if that was full we could use the public car park and if that is full we could then use the council car park . ?????. On to the room. After a hold of $150 on our card and after filling out what was tantamount to a passport application we were given our room card and with direction given that would confuse any GPS system we set off to find our room. The room was very large, black walls and 2 tiny windows that were smaller than anything in Yatala prison ( we think ). There was adequate supplies of bottle water in the room ( all clearly tagged with prices) ( no complimentary water at all). The bathroom floor was dirty, the toilet roll dispenser was broken and the sink plug was a piece of plastic. The kettle was near impossible to fill with tap water as you couldn’t get it under the bathroom tap. At the time of our stay there was a wedding reception in full swing and the noise was incredibly loud. The interlocking door between sections was right next to our room and it would slam shut after every entry and exit ( about 25 times an hour). An added touch was the top up cart for towels, soaps, tea and coffee etc which was right next to our door. So, be aware that this is a very very noisy place. Overall the place was below par to most we have ever stayed in.
Views were great....mostly clean except for ledges in main room and bathroom were full of mould...i recieved a text message b 4 check in friday and issues contact given mobile....i messaged a complain and pictures to number given i was told wring number...sent email heard nothung as yet...laundry was thick in dust.
Where do I start? A winery without wine three male colleagues and I on business . arrived at 7.30 pm to check in and have something to eat Check in was at the bar where the locals with their mullets and tats had made themselves comfortable on the ratty couches. We were advised to order our meals as we checked in because the kitchen was closing As we ordered, we were moved aside as the 2 barmaids on duty removed a patron who had become violent. Having completed our meal ( nothing to write home about so I won't ) we gathered our belongings from our vehicle and passing by the locals on the couch were asked with a snide giggle , if we were sharing a room I can assure you unlike the locals, we don't all sleep together. The rooms are badly maintained with paper thin walls and chipped cabinetry. Apparently hot water to the bathroom basin is an optional extra . Our arrival coincided with a Thursday night wedding ( who gets married on a Thursday?) The resulting noise from the drunk wedding guests stripping off and swimming in the pool then fist fighting each other made sleeping difficult . No breakfast available week days only weekends so it's off to Maccas before we begin our work day. After our first meal we decided to eat at the local pub, pretty good food, we'll done Crown Better nights sleep , no wedding. Breakfast ok but slow and the coffee very weak. House keeping us practically nonexistent with bedding simply pulled up over what ever is on the bed ( see photos) Breakfast the next morning was a nonevent , ”Sorry, they'll be a wait , we've run out of bacon and eggs) Off the Maccas we go again. How would I rate St Francis winery ( without wine) I wouldn't Keep driving
