Anna Grand Hotel is a well-known beautiful hotel. The location is superb. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff was not at a very high level upon my visit. The facilities were very nice and also the food was OK.

It is a huge hotel, clearly has no fund to maintain. Rooms are clean but poorly furbished. High-season qualified staff must have left the region, so everyone seems to have been recruited from every possible places. Restaurant is rather mediokre. Must say though that everyone is very nice and helpful.

The stuff was definitely not polite, not talking to me nicely. They had a problem with my booking at the spa reception, could not find it . I really felt like treated not in a good manner. The masseur was the same guy, so I was not happy at all. In the end it was 40 minutes instead of 50… which I paid for

Revisited the Hotel after few years, the service and hospitality was great. Sitted on the terrace in a very nice athmosphare. The cheesecake was very tasty as well as the glass of wine 😉 The hotel is in central location, just 30 seconds to the lake and all bars are nearby. Reccommended place if you want something authentic in Balatonfured😉

Excellent service in the Cafe and at the Reception - George, Katalin and Claudia are very professional and helpful. Friendly a**osphere joins proper level abd quality of service.Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

I travelled to Anna Grand Hotel with my family to show them a glimpse of my childhood memories. I spent summers in the region as a child so it was sort of a no-brainer to revisit the area. I picked the hotel without any hesitation, because I had beautiful memories of the building as a glamourous royal hotel with all the splendor and the full package. Check in was easy and real quick even though we arrived late coming from abroad. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We stayed in 2 rooms a Standard and a Duplex, both rooms were spacious, with all the necessary facilities you’d expect. Both our rooms had an extraordinary view to the Lake Balaton. Just magnificent! The pool & spa area is great for families: it’s spacious yet not huge so your kids won’t get lost, but it has everything you’d expect from a hotel spa. The best-selling point (besides the a**osphere and vibe) of the hotel is without doubt the surrounding grounds of the building and the exact location. The hotel is literally in the center of Balatonfüred with an easy access to the promenade, beach, restaurants, bars and harbor, so basically you get the full package first hand. No need to move around by car at all. However if you want to check the region car is highly recommended, but Balatonfüred is in my belief the best location to do all that as well. One last thing: The whole building has an aristocratic glamour and a**osphere to it which is understandable: the place is home to the almost hundred years old Anna Ball. I highly recommend this hotel for all of you!

Great location and a beautiful building. The staff was very nice and professional. It’s easy to get to the main sites and to the beach on foot. The wellness has a good a**osphare. It’s good that they have a separate pool for swimmers.

Wir waren zweite Hälfte September 2021 für 4 Nächte hier und hatten aufgrund der Internetbilder und Beschreibungen gewisse Erwartungen. Zuerst die wenige positive Sachen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und es ist trotzdem ruhig. Von aussen sieht es ansprechend aus. Die Zimmerpreise sind moderat. Der Wellness-Bereich ist OK. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich und kompetent. Leider überwiegen die negativen Sachen. Die Zimmer sind abgenützt. Schmutziger Teppich, verkalkte Dusche, es wird nicht regelmässig geputzt. Es lag eine Socke vom vorherigen Gast unter dem Bett. Am späteren Abend kann man keinen Drink nehmen, da das Cafe-Bar nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet ist. Am ersten Abend war schon um 20:30 geschlossen. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet ist knapp und eintönig. Die Qualität der Produkte ist mangelhaft. Das Hotel verdient das Prädikat 4* weitem nicht. In Realität ist es ein schwacher 3 Stern.
