切斯福德格蘭奇飯店(Chesford Grange Hotel)

We booked in and my son and daughter were upgraded as they had just finished their exams. We had the dog and our room was good in the way the door opened into large green area and you could sit outside. It was busy in the eve as there was a prom on and another function and the service was slow in the restaurant. I spoke to the supervisor at reception and explained the issues we had and she could not be more helpful - we were offered drinks and lunch as a sorry which was a great gesture. We would definitely return.

The hotel is really nice but the only problem was no lift as we had a few suitcase . No bell service and we had to carry our heavy luggages up one floor. Quite a problem for old people. Breakfast was nice but pricey, weather was good and so having breakfast outdoors is a pleasure.

Pool was Closed and no times were posted. The Main reason we stayed was the pool. The toilet seat was flimsy and kept falling off when we went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Giving us little sleep. Breakfast was expensive and yet it’s hours of availability was very limited

Some disappoin**ents on this stay. Asked for room with or near outside door sine we had our door and we were very far away. Since room was prepaid a better room coukd have been allocated. Room was ok, but stained curtains and some chipped paint were unattractive. Asked if we needed dinner reservations to eat in bar and told no. When we arrived at 6.45 we were told no food until 8.30 since restaurant was full. Bar staff and reception desk blamed each other. No one made any effort to deal with the situation they created. Would not stay again.

Not sure why is is still a four star, it was a bit tired and average at best. Was maybe rated 4 Star a while ago. Stayed here as listed with on-site electric car charging, it looked like there used to be some, now just a block of concrete where the charger used to be and sign saying parking spot only for electric cars. not much help.

Had a fabulous stay at Chesford Grange. Staff were excellent and really obliging as we organised a birthday party for a friend. Very comfortable room and excellent food.

We had a wonderful room in the Manor House. When we had an issue with the electricity not working, this was dealt with immediately. Breakfast buffet was great. Spa was limited, but an added bonus.
