Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Ausruhen und ideal für die Erkundungen der Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umland. Essen: top, frisch und lecker. Säfte frisch. Ayurveda: wirklich mit Herz bei der Sache. Wohltuend Unterkunft: die Anlage ist sichtbar älteren Datums. So what. Gut gepflegt und sauber Wir waren hier 4 Nächte zu zweit und hatten Luxus pur Preis Leistung 5 Sterne + Dank an das freundliche personal. Wir kommen wieder

L’hôtel Karevi est situé à quelques kilomètres de Sigiryia dans un joli cadre verdoyant. Il est annoncé Resort & Ayurvédique… il n’a que le nom! La réalité fait face à un hôtel avec peu de services et commodités: uniquement un restaurant, une piscine et des soins ayurvédiques. Les pelouses ne sont même pas entretenues. Les prix pratiqués pour les soins ayurvédiques sont excessivement élevés, on a l’impression de passer pour des pigeons. La restauration est très moyenne et est essentiellement basée sur de la friture (beignets, frites, crevettes…) ou grillades (poulet, calamars) et tout le temps accompagné de ketchup ou sauce BBQ ; loin de ce qu’on peut attendre d’une cuisine ayurvédique. N’espérez pas non plus avoir un petit déjeuner local, vous mangerez des œufs, toasts et fruits… Les chambres dans les bungalows sont néanmoins confortables mais attention il y a peu de chaînes TV disponibles et il n’y a pas de wifi dans les chambres (uniquement à la réception). La baignoire à bulle dans la chambre ne fonctionnait pas et l’eau n’était disponible as très chaude. Enfin, vous aurez le désagrément de subir des coupures d’électricité volontaires pour économiser le générateur et donc la facture… ambiance couvre feu garanti! Cloîtrés dans votre chambre, sans TV, sans wifi, sans lumière, sans climatisation, on ne peut absolument rien faire (même pas un Uno) donc tout le monde au lit à 20h! Le personnel est toutefois gentil et attentionné. Bref, on est très loin du standing d’un resort, le rapport qualité/prix est très mauvais.

Zum 2. Mal, der gleiche Ärger. Klar vereinbarte Preise werden bei der Ankunft nicht akzeptiert.Mit allen möglichen Argumenten wir versucht mehr zu kassieren.Selbt für den drver der seine Übernachtung selbst bezahlt wollt man nochmal Geld. An sich ein ansprechendes Haus mit großzügigen Zimmer. Aber diese dauernde Trckserei geht einem auf die Nerven. Ich bin abgereist und meide dieses Hotel und meine Freunde in Zukunft sicherlich auch. Warum so dumm? Klar, dass das Haus leer ist. Es gibt eine Reihe von Hotels die auch in dieser sehr angespannten Lage auch noch einige Touristen haben.

Fuyez cet hôtel! Très mauvaise expérience : 2 jours sans eau chaude, repas mauvais et pris dans le noir. Quand à la propreté, celle-ci est très moyenne. Après avoir changé de chambre à la suite d une invasion de fourmis la deuxième n était pas vraiment mieux. Suite à notre réclamation nous avons eu le droit à une misérable ristourne de 7$ sur une facture de 160$... Point positif, la jeune fille de l accueil était charmante et désolée.

The resort is in a very peaceful and quiet ambiance surrounded by a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. The food was also good and the staff very helpful. Location was very good to visit UNESCO sites of Sigiriya, Pollannaruwa and Dambulla which are a mist when visiting Sri Lanka. Highly recommended

Kaveri Resort has beautiful grounds, a huge swimming pool and lovely rooms, add to this the excellent care of DM Vignesh, Chef Manjula and their team, Kaveri is a beautiful place to stay. From here, we went to the fascinating Dambulla caves and had lunch at the nearby Heritance Kandalama Hotel. Another day we went on an elephant safari. Coming back to the hotel for a swim and having a foot and leg massage is the perfect way to spend a day. We like Sri Lankan food for dinner and Manjula prepared a variety of curries for us. Vignesh is rightly proud of his hotel and took me on a tour of the grounds to see the variety of fruit trees.

The service was awful. No cushions on the pool loungers, no parasols. The food was inedible, the brewed coffee boiled in a pot for over half an hour and tasted accordingly. For the dinner Our room was dark and uncomfortable. There was a hairdryer in the cupboard but it didn't fit into the socket. There was terribly loud live Spanish music for dinner. Never again!

This was a great setup .. like the place very much. It was a mango farm with mango every where.. The staff was generous enough to serve us with free organic mango juice whenever we requested it.. Very calm extremely quate place.. Overall it was a Great experience.

Oh my god, we had a very disgusting experience with this place from the moment we are on way to hotel, the Google map show the different way and we got stuck in muddy road but when we complained about the management and they say “you do your own business and we cancel the booking “ then we arrange to get our vehicle out of mud with the help of villagers then the villages complaining “this is not the first one this is the 6 or 7 th vehicle stuck in the mud & hotel didn’t do anything for that” so how ever we went to the hotel and complain to the manager, while we are complaining our issue in the lobby one of the hotel staff (chef) come & said reduce your voice to my husband and then husband said “who are you to oder me to reduce my voice I’m the customer and I’m complaining problem about what we faced near by your hotel because of your fault “ then the person who said” chef” said shut up you son********** and he throw the welcome drink to my husband and then had an argument and (all the staff )of the hotel and hit my husband and when I try to drag out my husband they throw me out by dragging my hair and my two kids were shouting and screaming. Then we try to come out the hotel they locked the gate then we call the police until the police cops are coming my two kids, myself and my husband are locked by the hotel staff . So this is the HOTEL KAVERI please when you are booking this hotel pls come with **** gang otherwise the same scenario will happens to you Please refrain to book such a cheap hotel which waisting your money and the time. There are plenty of hotels around segiriya , giving tremendous service
