Price keep increasing in recent months

It’s a decent hotel but it has gone downhill in the past few years. You can tell they are cutting costs. The only TV stations they get are streamed from the internet and are the more obscure channels. They no longer clean the rooms. We spent 4 nights here and had to frequently hunt down someone for more towels, trash bags and toilet paper. For the price I expect a bit more from them

Ok stay at this Home2Suites. Friendly staff at the front desk and easy access from I-80. Far enough away from the freeway so you don’t hear any freeway noise. Numerous fast food places and gas stations nearby. The room itself, however, could use improvement. The shade was ripped and torn, so I had a hard time opening and closing it. The kitchen and bathroom faucets were both loose and not bolted down securely, so I had to be careful turning on the water. Kitchen garbage disposal was not working. Bags of trash left by elevators on third floor when I checked in were still there in the morning when I checked out. Noisy people a few doors down, running and talking in the hallways until midnight, so sleep quality was disturbed. Breakfast was the standard pre-packed omelets, sandwiches, and breakfast bowls typical of the Home2Suites brand. I would stay again to see how other rooms compare and to see if it would be less noisy. If others decide to stay, I would recommend a room on a high floor facing the hotel parking lot to face away from I-80.

Convenient location off I80. Room was passable. Shower door was broken and water pressure very minimal. The bathroom faucet was loose. The bathroom door would not close completely. There were fewer options for breakfast than the usual Home2Suites breakfast. The banana waffles were good.

This used to be our place to stop when we traveled between Michigan and Pennsylvania. This time, I asked the lady checking us in what happened to gas prices in Ohio (they skyrocketed since December). She advised me it was Trumps fault. When asked how, since he's been out of office for almost 3 years, there was no response. Keep politics out when in the service industry. While this was annoying, this review was not based on the comment. There were numerous dirty dishes and bags of garbage in the hallway. The halls themselves did not look like they were vacuumed in quite some time, and the tile floor had sticky stuff on it. The shades our room were also damaged.

This hotel was super clean with very comfortable beds. The front desk staff was so kind and welcoming. It’s in a convenient location with asy access to restaurants and gas station. Our room smelled a little like dog but that didn’t bother us too much since we knew it was a pet friends hotel.

I very much enjoyed the room. Breakfast on the other hand was quite a disappointment. There was no meat or potatoes (not because I was late, simply wasn't offered). They did have those egg omelet things. I arrived at 8:30 (served until 9:00). Settled on the oatmeal, which was close to building block material. The toppings were good.
