Everything was ok. The lady who checked me in was very nice and very funny. She was awesome. I didn’t like the fact that the hotel has a policy where they asked why am I in town. Honestly I feel like it’s none of their business. Other than that as stated before it was ok. The only reason I chose this hotel was because I had a class in the meeting room there the next morning. Next time I would probably stay at a different brand for that very reason.

The property was undergoing renovations, so the pool and gym area were not open. That was disappointing. Also, the carpets in the hallway looked dirty, and the air conditioning didn’t cool well. The breakfast area was nice, and the buffet breakfast was pretty good. All the staff we interacted with were nice.

Room was VERY spacious for our family of 6. Hotel is a little older and can see some wear and tear but very clean and comfortable!

First morning, no hot breakfast, pancake machine broken. Only had cereal,coffee,yogurt,water. No hot foods

The hotel was clean and the staff was fantastic. We were greeted every time we passed the check in desk and the breakfast was excellent. Fresh eggs, crispy bacon and mini pancakes plus the usual stuff. Only complaint is that it needs a little TLC but overall it was a very good 2 night stay.

Assuming the basics are good to excellent, I'm looking for the little things that make a difference. At Holiday Inn Express Augusta North, for me, those differences were extra-large screen television, instantaneous hot water in the bathroom, really strong water pressure in the shower and an above average breakfast selection. There was a disappoin**ent in the number and location of power outlets--which is surprising in a newer hotel. The staff was especially friendly and helpful, including retrieval of an item left behind and held until we could return and pick up later in the day. I definitely recommend this hotel and will be back when I'm staying in the area.

Pleasant experience! All employees were nice and friendly. Only thing that bothered me was the key cards constantly deactivating. I had to go back down stairs 3 times because the keys stopped working.
