WOW. Abysmal customer service. I called en route to The Cottages at Menlo Park because I noticed I had inadvertently booked for Saturday night instead of Friday. It was 5:30 on a Friday, I was on the freeway with my two small children in tow, and I had no place to stay. They said, sorry, they were booked, so I had to look elsewhere. I kindly asked them to cancel my booking for the following night. They said they could not cancel it! THEN THEY CHARGED ME FOR SATURDAY. I requested a cancelation through the hotel directly and through *******. The ******* agents were so kind and offered to help me. They emailed and called the property manager requesting they not charge my card since I would not be staying there. The manager, Nraj R, refused to assist them or me and insisted on charging me the FULL price of the room even though I never darkened the door of the hotel.
This was a truly awful experience. DO NOT book here if there is any chance whatsoever you need to cancel, might get sick, your plans might change, etc.
Also, please do note that this was NOT a prepaid stay. I booked a Pay At Property price. I did not show up to the property and was charged full price as if I had. This was nothing short of theft. They rendered no service and charged me anyway. No self-respecting company treats customers in that manner.
