This was my first time in Greece and the hotel made for a very, very enjoyable trip. What makes a good hotel? The staff. Every single staff member I interacted with from the reception desk to the restaurant was phenomenal. A friendly greeting when coming and going from the lobby, caring and professional assistance and service. The room was very comfortable, with a large bed and a wide selection of espresso and teas. Bathroom products were excellent. Breakfast was superb. Excellent and friendly staff, delicious food and beverage. I did have a small issue at the hotel and I will discuss it here, but to make it clear from the outset, the hotel earned its 5 stars! The hotel advertises air conditioning, but reception informed me that the AC is turned off in the winter. I do think this should be disclosed to guests prior to booking. I do prefer a cool room and the room was a bit hot for my tastes on some warmer days, and a fan was not available from reception. It ended up being okay because it quickly cooled down and while the room still got a little warmer than I liked, it did not affect my sleep in the comfortable bed. One suggestion I would have is to offer fans to guests when the AC is turned off. Reception was unequivocally apologetic for that and made the time and effort to empathize with me and ask how my stay was going throughout the stay. These things make a difference. I enjoyed my time in Greece very much. And yes, I would stay here again! Many thanks.
