We stated that we would be arriving late, giving a time between 1-2 AM. We arrived at 1:30 and had to go to the adjoining hotel to check-in and were told our room had been cancelled. He gave us a room that looked like it may have or at least should have been on line for a remodel. We didn't want to take a shower because everything was so dirty. We were up and out of there early in the morning as we couldn't leave early enough.

Everything about this stay was unacceptable. The bedspread had holes in it and the sheets had stains on them. There was wet damage on the ceiling that looked like it was going to fall in the bathroom. I never took my shoes off even to sleep. It was that dirty

The room was okay. You are getting what you pay for, for $50 the bed was decent. The door to the room had a 1 inch gap that let the cold air in. The bathtub had holes in the wall/shelf. There was dry wall on the shelf in the bathroom. The trash was not emptied before check in. I've never before been called so many times to see if I was checking in, but it's ok I guess.

They tried to charge me a pet fee and the room wasn’t clean. We couldn’t even use the shower or microwave

Best place to stay in Ashland VA! So many great things about this property, I don’t know where to start. The staff here is top notch, they go above and beyond every time I’m here to make sure my stay is great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and stocked with basic amenities such as soap and shampoo in case you forgot yours! The beds are comfortable, tv’s and other furniture is nice. It’s also quiet and relaxing! Everything you would need is close by, most within walking distance. Once you’re in your room though it is quiet and peaceful oasis! Anytime I’m working within a 40 mile radius I will stay here. The extra travel time is worth the home away from home feeling! 11/10 recommend!

Baseboards missing. Connection piece between Laminate and tile was not glued down. No tissues. Bathroom reno looks like a five year old did it. Tub looks original and was disgusting. Worst of all…the bed was hard as a rock and you could feel every spring. Only three tiny pillows provided.

Easy to get to. But everything was outdated and made me feel uncomfortable using everything to the fullest extent

Toilet won't stop running. Could not find hotel. Not visible from street, no sign until you actually find the entrance. Could not contact hotel by phone, only recorded menu that transfers to fax. No one in attendance after 11 pm. we finally found it close to 11 and if after would have found a closed office; what then?

Bugs and antiquated furnishings. Possibly dangerous lighting fixtues. Bedding barely adequate. Dirty flooring around bed. Sink barely functional. Shower enclosure old and dirty. Toilet lid almost separated from toilet. Priced way too high for 1 star accommodation.
