Great location, friendly staff. Parking is a nightmare! But worth it because once parked you can walk to most everything to do in downtown Asheville.

Our room was not ready at check in time, which was annoying. Also, parking was extremely challenging, not only to find a spot but also to pull in and out. Our room was nice (we were pleasantly surprised as the hotel exterior is very dated and shabby looking). Unfortunately, we were awakened from a sound sleep by partying neighbors at 12:50 a.m. We ended up having to phone the front desk twice, but it didn’t quiet down for another half hour after the front desk person spoke to the party crew a second time. We were already exhausted from traveling since 3 a.m. the previous day, so really didn’t need that hassle or the disrupted sleep. I mentioned it upon check out but nothing was done to make up for the inconvenience. I realize that the hotel can’t control loud guests; however, when they know that guests were disrupted numerous times it would be nice to do something for them. We didn’t bother with breakfast as options were very limited. Although the proximity to downtown was good, I would not stay at this hotel again. It certainly wasn’t worth the almost $200 we spent for the room.

Perfectly serviceable room in a wonderful part of Asheville, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, music venues and more. Sure, the building is quite dated, but I'll take location and affordability over new and shiny every day of the week!

The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The hotel is very quiet and well located for walkable outings.

super location and good value for being right in the middle of downtown and free parking....great place, ironic

Clean room, comfortable bed and on site parking were what made this stay great. The room wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and had everything you would need including a hair dryer, microwave and mini fridge. We walked around downtown as we were close to everything.

Great place! A little wonky checking in, but otherwise fantastic. The room was clean, quiet, and with easy access to my vehicle. Great location. I will definitely stay here again!!

Great value considering it's location to downtown and cost. Definitely on the loder side but I'd stay again.

Overall, good value for the money. I would recommend ear plugs when sleeping not for the loud urban noise but for the beeping coming from the cross walk lights outside warning that walk is about to become "Don't Walk". You can't hear it most of the time except for when it gets quiet after midnight partying ends
