Nice place. Lovely surroundings 2nd visit within three weeks. Enjoyed the bar, lounge, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was an issue as the hotel was full and they ran out very quickly without adequate topping up. Perhaps under staffed this weekend.? But nevertheless we had a great stay.

Booked to stay for a friend’s wedding. Booked a superior twin room but didn’t see anything superior about it. Had to go back to reception to request more towels as room was for 2 people but only 1 set of towels this was quickly corrected. Bar service a little slow but friendly

Staff friendly food was good , WiFi not working in room this was an issue for me for the 2 nights stay this didn’t get resolved for me , spa area sauna door needs attention been like this for a year , really needs a steam room by pool area

Restaurant shut on a Friday night for "reasons" but the food was nice and the service pleasant. Don't understand this obsession by hotel staff to place one in the furthest possible room despite booking and there being not many customers; be careful if you're hard of walking - there are a lot of stairs!

We stayed at Sedgebrook for a family wedding. The room was lovely and clean, moden and perfect for what we needed. Staff were very friendly and always at hand to help if needed.

The hotel has been thoughtfully updated and all areas felt modern and well designed. The pool is pleasant if small. We wanted to order room service after a tiring day's travel and there was no phone in our room which was very inconvenient. But the staff were helpful and did give us room service even though it was after the advertised time. It is unfortunate that there is no lift as we were in the modern extension on the first floor. The breakfast was average and they ran out of croissants! Despite the down sides, I would stay again as a stop off point.

The hotel was very nice, clean spacious rooms. We were a walking group of 18 and booked an evening meal on the Friday. Food not amazing and service slow, we did get refunded on 3 meals not up to expectations. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice.

Although staff were very friendly and nice, they were no help when it came to directions to rooms or amenities. The hotel did have access for those with mobility disabilities however guests were left to figure out the best routes to the reception/Rooms/dining & bar area for themselves which was often right around the outside of the whole building as signage was absent. To add to the issue with disabled access the hotel main building was undergoing major redecoration which blocked off sections of corridor, carpets were pulled up with the Scotia's bare creating hazards for guests and especially those staying with small children. I would think twice before staying again.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was lovely and clean with TV and kettle, and decent sized en suite. The surrounding area was quite and in the countryside, there was also outside sitting space ideal for this hot weather. The pool and sauna was an added bonus and the dining room looked great too. There could have been a menu in the room, everything was done by phone. But on the whole it was all positive.
