Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown

We only spent one night in a suite but we could tell it was a well equipped hotel. 2 restaurants, gym, laundry services, etc. Parking was convenient and the staff made you feel welcomed.

Between the raging party/concert/whatever going on outside our room until almost 11pm, and the a/c making a wretched noise on/off all night, we maaaaybe got 1-2 hrs total sleep. We ended up leaving at 4am because our efforts to sleep were futile. Never again.

We really had a nice stay - the hotel was clean, convenient, and the service from Robert at the front desk was fantastic. We appreciated the very good breakfasts every day and the overall value for the cost. Great place!

The location was 2 blocks away from the Lincoln Theater that I was in town for. Check in and amenities were all about what I would expect at this price range. Only downside was that the previous tenant left the alarm clock for 6am, but that's easy to overlook.

Property was clean, felt safe around the property and very walkable. Room was clean spacious with full kitchen, sitting area, bedding was nice and comfortable. Shower was great.Love tge buffet breakfast, both restaurants were really nice, loved the rooftop restaurant and bar. Beautiful view Staff was excellent everywhere was very friendly and very helpful. Loved the covered parking. Great stay!

The lager African American gentleman at the front desk was AMAZING! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and his customer service was outstanding!! This restaurant and bar was superb! This is by far one of the best Residence Inn that I have ever stayed in and I frequent your hotels all across the country.

I have not travelled since the COVID pandemic hit in early 2020. The bed linen changed wasn’t changed after my first night and I didn’t think much of it. However, on day 2 I asked that the bed linen be changed and was met with fierce opposition. If the hotel’s policy is to change bed linen every three days then that should be posted on their website and not a secret. Certainly they should not carry on like I was asking for one of their body organs. I then elected to checkout earlier than scheduled but had unfortunately paid in advance for a longer stay. With prior notice, after a full day I’d take a shower or bath before bedtime, similar to what I do at home.

We stayed one night as we were in town for a concert at the Red Hat Amphitheater. The hotel was a short walk to and from the venue and was very clean. The breakfast was very good as well.

Stayed at the hotel from Tuesday - March 28th - Monday - April 3rd. Nice hotel, but the furniture in the rooms needs to be updated. For the price we paid to stay; you would think the furniture wouldn't look like it's been there since it opened or they purchased it from a yard sale. Overall the staff was nice. Not many options in the area for leisure, but it is clean and quiet. Places to eat close early, but the Morgan Street Market is a nice place to chill out and eat, it is set up like a food court, and easy to walk around, and ride bikes, public transportation, and scooters.
