Awesome place to stay

I reserved this hotel to celebrate my 10yrs anniversary, I was expecting more from the Renaissance especially for the price that they charge. I reserved a room with a Jacuzzi and when I got there they told me no, and gave me a tiny room with a small tub instead. Everything was outdated. my first time staying there and i left very disappointed. won't stay again.

Overall this is a good place to stay. I like the convenient free parking. I think it's a little over priced for the quality of the bed and bedding, and bathroom amenities. But the convenient location make up for it and cause me to return to it when I need a hotel in the Raleigh area.

Helpful front desk staff. Hotel is what you would expect for the price point. Decent sized room, comfortable bed, nice toiletries. On parking... Self parking is included but is hard to find. Go down the hill for covered parking and follow signs for the hotel. The front area is tiny and used for checking in and valet. So you could easily pay for valet unnecessarily. There is an elevator in the parking garage that takes you straight to the lobby. Much easier than fighting traffic at the front of the hotel.

Breakfast not included in the price.there was no face tissue and wash cloths in the room. Breakfast was good .

Love the proximity to shopping and dining. The bed was comfortable after a long day on our feet.

Loved the staff, breakfast was delicious. Everything is in walking distance and there are options to choose from! The bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. My back muscles were burning all night long. There was a constant bang from 9 pm to 2 am. Staff was notified during my departure. Nothing against this hotel in general but I have stayed in nicer rooms in other hotels. I will not be returning to the Renaissance Hotel.

Such a great location, the staff is always nice and the beds are comfortable and clean.
