阿魯沙盛美利亞飯店(Gran Melia Arusha)

Awesome hotel with very high standards

El hotel tiene una decoración como si hubiese sido decorado hace 20 años y ahí se quedo. Las habitaciones son muy modernas y cuidadas, un poco pequeñas quizas, pero muy bien tanto ellas como los baños. El servicio pesimo si miramos el servicio de habitaciones y maravilloso si hablamos del desayuno. El desayuno ha sido sin duda el mejor del viaje. El servicio de habitaciones el peor. Llegamos 20 personas a las 12 de la noche, 10 niños sin cenar. Pedimos cena, tardaron en algun caso hora y media en hacer y subir a las habitaciones (el restaurante estaba cerrado) un bocadillo o una pizza (lo niños estaba muertos y hambrientos despues de 12 horas de viaje. Para un hotel TAN CARO que no pueda atender la comida de 10 niños a la hora que sea me parece un fallo bastante grande. El desayuno como digo, maravilloso (será por el hambre que tuvimos algunos que al darnos una tiempo aproximado de entrega de la comida no la pedimos)

No doubt that this is the best hotel in Tanzania. Best located, best service, best food. Everything about this hotel is amazing. We were so moved by the keenness of details. The employees are so professional. The Spa is excellent, thanks to Maria, the Spa manager and the whole team. The welcoming by the bell boys to the front desk is warm, you feel at home. Thanks to Salome, the front Office Manager and her Team. The rooms are spacious and beds large and comfortable, I almost missed my breakfast 🤣the first night because I slept like a baby. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a local touch. This type of decoration you will not find anywhere in the world, so original. Have to visit SANAA when you are here to get some beautiful souvenir. The view to the Mount Meru is WOW. The rooftop bar is the real deal. The cocktails are delicious and the food as well. The pool is so clean, we enjoyed swimming a lot . Thanks to Mr Nicolas, the General manager, Mr Vickram, the resident manger and the whole team for making our stay so unique and unforgettable. Will surely be back.

As a group of friends on safari from America, we stayed at the Gran Melia Arusha for two nights on the front and back end of our trip. While this is not a long-stay resort like the sister properties in Ngorongoro or Serengeti, we all agreed it was a well managed property and had excellent value for money. I observed a mixture of conference, solo business travelers, locals and tourists - all of whom seemed very satisfied with their experience!

El Melia es el mejor hotel de Arusha sin duda. Es una parada obligatoria antes de empezar el recorrido por los grandes parques. Aunque es un hotel de ciudad, no es en absoluto impersonal: está diseñado y decorado para que tenga carácter propio y sabor local. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Pero lo que mas me impresionó son sus extensos y cuidadisimos jardines, la preciosa piscina, las plantaciones de platanos y café, las vistas del monte Meru... todo te hace sentir que estás inmerso en la naturaleza. Dentro del recinto del hotel está instalada la organizacion sin ánimo de lucro Sanaa, que tienen un restaurante informal y muy agradable y una zona donde puedes ver a gente local desfavorecida trabajando en sus talleres de soplado de vidrio, telares, trabajo con cuero, confeccion de ropa, artesanía, collares y pulseras bastante mas bonitas de las que luego vi en el resto del viaje... todo con un gusto exquisito y además, muchas de esas cosas las puedes ver en todos los hoteles Meliá de Tanzania, ya que colaboran con esta organización: recipientes de vidrio para el gel y champu de baño, cristalería: copas vasos y jarrones, manteles, servilletas, bajo platos, albornoces, cestas para el pan, camisas y pantalones estilo safari, y sobre todo tienen unas bolsas de viaje de una calidad excelente y un precio super razonable. Nos encantó este hotel

Magnífico hotel en un entorno muy agradable con unas estancias donde te sientes muy cómodo...personal del hotel muy atento y especial mención a Daniel que nos acogió y estuvo pendiente en todo momento para sintiéramos como en casa. Recomiendo el hotel al cien por cien.

Lieben Dank an die Mitarbeiter und Service-Kräfte die uns ein wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Hotel im modernen Afrika style ermöglicht haben. Ein Dinner mit gutem Wein auf der Dachterrasse oder ein wunschfreies Superfrühstück im Restaurant alles perfekt organisiert und geplant. als Gast kann man wunderbar entspannen und den grossen Park geniessen und die zeitgemässe Nachhaltigkeit sei erwähnt - Eigener Kaffeanbau, Hühnerzucht und kleine Werkstätten runden den guten Eindruck ab. Gerne kommen wir wieder...

What a relief to have stayed here after our Safari! This was amazing and more branded hotels are needed in Tanzania and Zanzibar as this was fabulous. We cannot thank staff enough to have ended on such a positive note! The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was on an international standard! Karibu Sana
