庫野納亞馬遜旅館(Kuyana Amazon Lodge)

Sítio maravilhoso muito tranquilo e relaxante. Lodge muito bem integrado na paisagem e com uma decoração de extremo bom gosto. Tanto os donos como o nosso guia Santiago foram inexcedíveis na simpatia, no trato e nas dicas que nos deram dos sítios a visitar no Equador e ilhas Galápagos. Por último não posso deixar de referir a excelentes gastronomia com que fomos brindados durante a nossa estadia. Pena ficar tão longe de Portugal…..

Nuestra experiencia en Kuyana fue maravillosa. Su equipo es amable y profesional. La comida deliciosa, las excursiones y actividades proporcionadas muy buenas, el lodge en general es nítido. Nos encantó conocer a Iván su dueño y conversar con el. Y no debemos dejar de mencionar al monito Ramón es lo máximo. Recomiendo este Eco Lodge si uno quiere estar inmerso en la naturaleza en un ambiente hermoso y especial.

Se cayó el puente por el cuál cruzábamos con niños, caímos, quedamos heridos. Tuvimos que ir al hospital por nuestra cuenta ya que quisieron llevarnos a una enfermería que para colmo estaba cerrada. Los familiares que quedaron a la espera no recibieron ningún tipo de atención. A nuestro regreso hicieron caso omiso de la gravedad del asunto y a los poco días recibimos una llamada de amenaza y altanería de la dueña. (Tengo el audio) y testigos de lo que digo. Son personas malas que no están en la capacidad de manejar un lugar. Pensar mil veces por favor antes de ir a ese lugar

Fantastic place in jungle! Very nice lodges (9), spacious, cozy decorated in fantastic garden with pool and nice corners to sit. Food is super, from breakfast, over lunch to dinner! The hikes starting from the lodge were fun and sometimes even challenging. The jungle safari was less enjoyable (only the part on water was fun, the rest was too touristy, the community for example). Special mention for Sean, he arranged everything and did his best to make you feel at home, the right man on the right place! Top location! Would so go back ...

The tours like the safari were overpriced for the area. The rule to take shoes off in areas like the lobby was pretty inconvenient. Food variety for people with dietary restrictions was limited.

Our girls (ages 10 & 8 years old) loved this special haven more than any other place we stayed at in Ecuador or Galapagos, and I attribute that mostly to our wonderful guide, Leo, who was fabulous! Leo was great with keeping the kids entertained (especially with the adorable Ramon!) and interested while on hikes and day trips. He was always checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and very knowledgable about everything we were seeing and doing. The food was really wonderful and accommodated all of our needs as I'm a vegetarian. What I particularly liked was that we could have our two kids venture off on the property and feel totally at ease with safety. We really liked the chill vibe here and our accommodations were very nice. We even splurged on laundry here since we were traveling for a while and the staff accommodated our needs last minute. Everyone working there was very attentive and friendly! We will never forget our experience here and will treasure it forever! It was a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.

Our family of four had a wonderful experience at Kuyana Amazon Lodge! We had pick-up from Quito directly to the lodge, with all arrangements for rafting with our 9 year-old and 11 year-old. If you are looking for an experience at the edge of the Amazon, this is it!

This is a peaceful family run retreat built by Ivan and Lu. The rooms are fabulous situated in a beautiful setting and very eco friendly. The staff and guides are so attentive and knowledgeable - nothing is too much trouble. We made our own chocolate which was really fascinating and sutrisingly easy. It's a real rainforest retreat with some lovely waterfall hikes and lots of butterflies, birds and some noisy frogs. The Lodges have large windows so you can lay in bed and watch them - I loved watching the hummingbirds. Plus, the lovely Ramon is very entertaining! Highly recommended.
