阿平灣景飯店(Appin Bay View)

Wie können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Der Hausherr und die Angestellten waren sehr gastfreundlich und unkompliziert und haben uns zahlreiche Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants in der Umgebung gegeben. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Angeboten auswählen (schottisches Frühstück, asiatischer „Fried rise“ oder übliches Frühstück). Wir waren zwei Nächte da und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Aussicht ist fabelhaft (Blick aufs Castle Stalker und Loch Linnhe). Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet – sogar mit frischen Rosen. An der Strasse gleich unterhalb der Unterkunft ist das Old Inn, wo man exzellent essen kann (Steaks in verschiedenen Varianten).

Guest House veramente super!!! Mike, cordialissimo padrone di casa, ci ha accolti subito con simpatia, mostrandoci la nostra bellissima camera (Castle View) con vista sul lago e Castle Stalker: impagabile! Camera grande, accogliente, pulitissima e confortevole. Tranquillità assoluta, paesaggio indimenticabile. Abbiamo trascorso due notti ad Appin View. Inoltre Mike ci ha consigliato alcuni ristoranti ove prenotare in quanto essendo alta stagione vi era possibilità di avere difficoltà: abbiamo scelto Holly Tree, a circa 15 minuti da Appin View, ove abbiamo cenato benissimo. La zona di Appin è bellissima, tranquilla e romantica. Colazione ottima, con varie scelte, dalla full english breakfast, alla Thai o salmone con scramble eggs. Oltre a scelte dolci. Consigliatissimo, per la bellezza della struttura e del luogo e per la cortesia e simpatia di Mike!!! Speriamo di ritornarci presto.

La chambre avec vue sur le château et accès direct sur la terrasse est très belle, très propre et spacieuse. Il ne manque rien. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents Mike est un homme très accueillant, généreux, toujours à l'écoute et au service de ses hôtes et d'une amabilité naturelle Un excellent séjour de 5 nuits Thierry et Catherine

This was a perfect experience! Mike is the best host ever, hospitable and full of stories. The room was luxury and big. The breakfast fantastic. You could even order an asiatic breakfast! And what a view….. I can recomment this place to anyone! martin & Renée, Amsterdam

A wonderful small bed and breakfast with the most amazing view across Appin Bay and Castle Stalker. The place is on the hillside and the bedrooms and breakfast room are on the first and second floors with a balcony across the front. we stayed 3 nights for a wedding nearby and with 3 sunny days the views and hospitality of Mike, the owner made a happy visit even more enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the room nicely appointed Breakfasts are large and there is an Asian option which we tried and enjoyed although I declined the additional hot sauce. For evening meals The Old Inn, just down the road is good.

Probably the best view and stay ever. Fabulous greeting, relaxed, unpretentious and the friendly entertaining chat from our host made it all the more memorable. Also the breakfast was brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble, also a surprise bottle for hubby on his birthday on arrival was lovely. The list goes on… bed was soo comfy fresh ground coffee in our room and as we had nowhere booked for dinner the first night our host sorted us a table at the old inn , the best steak ever! We will definitely be back x

A really comfortable B&B with surely one of the best views in Scotland. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfy. The breakfasts are delicious (try the Thai breakfast if you are a fan of something savoury) and Mike is a warm, helpful and informative host.And there is an excellent pub eatery in walking distance. It's a great base for exploring the area round Glencoe and down to Oban. If you can get a room overlooking the bay, there is a truly wonderful view of Castle Stalker and the hills and islands beyond, which is unforgettable. We will try and come back.

We experienced a very warm welcome from Mike and his staff members. Nothing is too difficult for Mike. He is always there to help. The room was very clean with a nice view on the castle. What a brilliant start to my Scottish road trip. This place set the bar high. We had the warmest of welcomes, Mike the owner is great and dead friendly and everything felt so easy and chilled the minute we arrived. After a quick unpack in our very comfortable room (a lovely garden view and equipped with kettle, fluffy robes, nice powerful shower and a big walk in space for all my luggage I bring and don’t need), followed by a really tasty meal and drinks at the Old Inn that we wandered along the road to, it’s our first night arrival and I’m wishing I could stay here the entire couple of weeks! It’s so peaceful this place, any stress lifted immediately and you could sit for hours enjoying the amazing view of Castle Stalker on the communal balcony. I loved that view every day whilst enjoying my breakfast and it always looked slightly different dependant on weather, just perfect! I loved how thoughtfully the tables were rotated to let everybody get the front view, that’s a great host that is. Fresh milk is in the fridge for your cuppa if wanted. Beer and wine in the fridge and an honesty/charity box too if you fancy a little drink on the balcony enjoying the view. Breakfast is immense with fab choice and you just tick what you want (it’s generous) - you have to try the Thai breakfast, I had it all 3 mornings it’s absolutely delicious. The yogurt was amazing too. Mmmm. Book your restaurants like Mike recommends, the Old Inn had to turn away so many people as we sat in there and it was a Monday night .. seemed very popular and was sooo worth going. All in all a really fabulous stay, lovely hospitality, great staff, great views, great room, great grub, stress free. No complaints here and I cannot wait to go back. Thanks Mike and all.
