In the winter, enjoy snow shoeing right on property. Hit one of five ski mountains ranging from 10 minutes to 30 minutes away. Vast snowmobile trails are accessible via short drive (about 15 minutes).Explore the 100 wooded acres, relax on the wrap around porch with views of nearby mountains, enjoy the pollinator gardens or light up the firepit next to the pond. So much to do at Okemo Meadows, you may not want to leave!Up to one pet welcome with a $150 pet fee.Okemo Meadows is equipped with everything you'll need for a wonderful Vermont getaway. A nature lovers all season retreat. Fall foliage is absolutely spectacular with views of rolling hills and mountains visible from the Adirondack chairs on the porch. Or, enjoy a scenic drive through the hills and mountains directly off property. In the spring and summer take advantage of nearby lakes, state parks, Long Trail, Appalachian Trail and National Forests. Or, simply enjoy the 100 acres the property has to offer. The pollinator gardens are truly spectacular and filled with butterflies. Lightning bugs roam at night. Relax by the fire pit, enjoy dinner outside or a glass of wine on the porch.The house offers four bedrooms all on the second floor (king, king, queen, and two bunks: twin-over-twin and twin-over-full). The master suite is truly an oasis with a full en-suite bathroom and vanity area. The second King bedroom is spacious and inviting while the queen bedroom is the perfect cozy spot to tuckaway in. The kids bunkroom is full of delightful touches that the kids are sure to enjoy.Your stay comes with many amenities: toiletries, AC in both king bedrooms, a full house fan that cools the house on warm summer days, a fully stocked kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, exceptionally fast WiFi, firepit, Adirondack chairs, outdoor seating and dining area, grill...just to name a few features!There are multiple family spaces, from a cozy library/TV room to a spacious entertaining space. We are located off of town maintained roads.Additionally, per our listing, this is a “no smoking” property, and that applies to both inside and outside our home. Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fee.* Please remove shoes when in the house. Absolutely no ski or snowboard boots in the house.* No smoking in the house or on the property* No swimming is allowed in the pond.* Do not use the fireplaces, they are capped* If using the outdoor firepit, please use the available bucket to dump pond water/snow on the fire until it is completely extinguished.* We ask that pets remain off furniture and beds.* Pick up all pet waste and place in trash bins in the garage. From the inviting living area, which features a wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceilings and wall to wall windows and sliders that invite the outdoor in, to the custom made kitchen with custom made hood (reclaimed wood from an old VT barn), natural stone backsplash, high end appliances and center island. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a nice dinner or breakfast. Open space between the living room, dining room (sitting up to 8 guests and with massive windows overlooking the mountains), and kitchen. The family room, on the same level, is cozy , has a pull out queen-size couch, and Smart TV. Much thought has been put into designing the half bath on this level, with a custom-made vanity (from an antique dresser) to custom-made light fixtures and bath fixtures. The first floor welcomes you with a spacious hallway, 2 bedrooms, and a large bathroom (with tub and double vanity). As you walk up the 3rd floor, the views are getting better and better from the primary suite, which boasts wall to wall windows.
