安達曼塔吉艾索地卡度假村及水療中心(Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans)

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ( 6 jours ) dans cet hôtel grâce à M. Abhishek Kumar qui a tout fait pour que tout se passe dans les meilleures conditions et nous tenons à le remercier pour sa gentillesse. Son écoute et son professionnalisme. L’hôtel est magnifique et les chambres immenses correspondant parfaitement à un cinq étoiles européen. Même si nous avons regretté l’absence de fenêtres dans la salle de bains et le dressing, trop sombres à notre goût. La piscine est sublime et le personnel très attentionné, Le chef du restaurant principal nous a régalés avec une cuisine talentueuse . Nous n’oublierons pas la langouste grillée, le crabe aux épices et les délicieuses Tiger prawns. Félicitations. Par contre le restaurant ne convient pas au goût des européens: il est immense, sombre, bruyant et glacé à cause de l’air conditionné. Heureusement , grâce à la gentillesse du directeur du restaurant, nous avons pu prendre petits déjeuners et dîners tous les jours sur la terrasse avec bougies etc.. merci également à M Ritesh Kapoor qui nous a organisé un thé dans le remarquable jardin bio de l’hôtel. Et qui nous a fait planter un tamarin. Bravo et merci à toute l’équipe. Nous espérons vivement revenir et profiter de la plage de rêve. Merci à tous. Et merci à Abigeish .

We had booked a full service experience with the Taj. Pickup at port Blair, trip to ferry, pick up from jetty in havelock and back, all done by Taj in their cars. Arrived on 1st Feb. Everything went as per the expected Taj standards. Next morning I left for my dive. My wife asked for a buggy to breakfast around 9 and she waited and waited till she got tired and decided to walk. In the evening after a swim in the pool, we decided to have a bath in their lavish Tub. The hot water is mildly hot, a temperature maybe a few degrees above the outside temperature of 31 degrees. We filled the tub and lasted 5 minutes. We called hospitality and the engineer did not have much to offer, just mumbled that’s the best we can do. Even our showers became business like. I in fact have longer showers at home than in my holiday. We had a dive the next morning. We asked for a car at 630am and we were told that a car will be ready by 730am. We finished breakfast and reached the gate and there is confusion about the car. We called the front office and they mumbled. We got the car though, else we might have brought the house down. Anyways water situation did not improve, buggy situation was a challenge. This is not what we expected from Taj There are ***y pluses to the property, a good meal at settlers restaurant, fantastic spa and a great beachside sunset. (Beach could not be used because of a crocodile incident. But that’s another story) On the last morning there was no water in the bathroom and we had a ferry to catch. 3 people had to get ready and use the bathroom. And we could not do it. A great way to start the day. We heard a pipe had burst. We got into the ferry and our designated Taj car was not there at the port Blair ferry to pick us up and take us sightseeing. . It was 20 minutes late. The team had no explanation. Tragic. Anyways to sum it up, the facility maintenance needs work, service levels around their concierge needs work. Will I come back again? Not here. For a property that costs 60K a night and every other bit charged for, I am not coming back

Perfect location, exceptionally well maintained property, stay in the deluxe rooms if ur with kids - it provides easy and quick access to pool, restaurants and the beach. Great hospitality, kids food is sorted and ***aged perfectly. The entire F&B about team is amazing. Buffet - lunch, dinner or breakfast are very good, however the spread, variety and options could be certainly increased. Specially Thanks to Mr Rajeev ( ***ager) and his team staff ***orath & Prasenjit, Akash & Bikash from turtles house for taking care of us also Mr ***a from house keeping totally impressed us by giving flower while check out Thanks to Ritiraj for making our trip memorable while going to kala pathar he guided us about anda*** Overall 10/10 for everything. Special thanks to all the chefs at the restaurants for taking care of us thank you Mr Satya ( Executive chef ) Must visit for family gateway’s.

For the longest time there were just two Taj Exotica properties: Goa & Maldives. So when the Anda***s property was first revealed, around the middle of the last decade (opened early 2018) it immediately became part of my bucket list. Then Covid happened and all travel plans got postponed, and not until this summer we were able to plan this trip. However, note that although the temperatures don't change much during the year, the humidity levels can be pretty high in May, especially before the monsoon commences, which can be a killer for a trip during this time. This resort was built at Havelock's famous Radhanagar beach next to a ***grove forest. As ***groves naturally trap moisture and given the forest cover inside the resort, the humidity levels were significantly higher during our stay, than say out there on the beach. The end result being although located next to a beach, there was none of that airy beach resort type feel at Taj Exotica Anda***s where the air was stuffy and was rather uncomfortable in May. I booked months back via Taj Direct for a ***grove facing villa. We got a good rate (relatively speaking) that included breakfast, dinner, pick-up/drop-off and even a bottle of wine. The ongoing rates at this property were at "exotica-levels" year-round, but I was a bit happy to have booked early. We were also pre-celebrating our twin boys' birthday and so I connected with the current GM Brij Rampali. Among other things, we requested for an upgrade (although all villas were the same, design wise, except the pool villas and the TATA suite), some arrangements for the birthday and if one of the dinners could be done at their speciality restaurant The Settlers. The last request was flatly refused, while there was no comment about the room upgrade. One of the dinners, he suggested, we do at the Turtle House, the pool-side restaurant to which I agreed. We reached Havelock from Port Blair and were picked-up in a plain looking (unbranded) Toyota Innova, not exactly sign of a luxury beach resort. The welcome to all guests happened in a semi-open space near the entrance, where we were served coconut water, our details would be taken and then a Nicobari welcome song sung by the staff. Apart from Mr. Rampali, Ajay Thakur the resort ***ager (duty ***ager), the activities ***ager and a few others welcomed us and sung the song. None of them were exactly Nicobari and so it was impossible for me to judge its authenticity. In fact, all the staff of this resort were from the Indian mainland while just a handful of locals were employed in gardening and nothing beyond. A group picture was taken in front of a large tree (which would appear in a framed form soon) and then Ajay took us ***** in a buggy to show two villas. One of them was right next to the lobby while the other was the one we booked: a ***grove villa. All this while, no one anywhere mentioned about my requested upgrade. Amazing experience at one of the most sustainable hotel of Taj. Taj exotica Anda***'s one of taj hotels with highest rating on sustainability and mindfulness. Since it is a beach property even the smallest essentials like umbrella 🌂 to tap to wash feet and remove sand before entering ones own villa, eye for detail represents the Tata Values!! Simply amazing and highly recommended. Even a snail feels safe

Excellent resort with a direct private access to clean beach just like Maldives, No need to travel overseas destination like Maldives or Mauritius Food is awesome with great services of Taj, Resort is tastefully designed with very nice villa rooms

It’s was a wonderful experience. I had a comfortable and memorable stay and I would say everyone has to experience Taj once in their lifetime.The moment you will enter the property you will see the difference between them and other hotels.

Séjour merveilleux, dans un endroit extrêmement calme et préservé. Excellent service, une équipe vraiment professionnelle et un chef en cuisine qui nous a régalés. Piscine très agréable Chambre bien entretenue et très propre. À refaire sans modération !

The property is located at one of the most pristine beaches in the world and to top it up there is Taj’s hospitality, No one beats the hospitality given by them. From entire checkin to support is amazing. Mahindra & Prasenjit went a mile a head to setup a perfect dinner for our anniversary at Shoreline restaurant.
