克拉麗奧套房市區飯店(Clarion Suites Anchorage Downtown)

The first portion of my stay was uneventful and just fine. No complaints. However, on the day of checkout, I was working on getting packed up to leave and at 11:03 a.m. the housekeeping supervisor banged on my door and loudly was yelling to have me open the door. I opened it to her asking when I was planning to be out of there by since "checkout is at 11 and it's 11:03." When I replied that I would like to take a shower and get cleaned up before leaving and that I could likely be done in 20-30 minutes, she responded "no, we aren't allowing late checkout because too many people on this floor are already doing late checkout. I'll be back in 15 minutes and you need to be ready to leave." I've truly never had someone be this rude at any prior hotel stay - she has no manners and I have never been to a hotel where late checkout was denied to a customer. They would still have from 12 pm to 4 pm to clean the remaining rooms which is quite a long time! All in all, I would not recommend staying here due to the disappointing customer service. Everyone else was friendly, but this employee needs to be disciplined for her out of line behavior. I would not stay here again because of this experience.

Overall the staff was pretty well rounded however I did not like how there was **********s found in our bathroom when we arrived on the floor, we threw towels over it to clean up. The bedsheets had a few stains and near the headboard where you could see the twin box springs under, there was a lot of hair it was disgusting.

Everything was perfect except day of departure. We had a very early departure for the train. We requested a wake up call for 4:00 am as well as to request a cab for 5:00 am. The person at the desk said she’d do alarm and no need to call cab night before but she’d leave a note to her relief. We never received a wake up call, there was no note left for relief and called cab at 4:30. At 5:00 no cab in sight. Front desk called again and they said not available right now. Finally arrived at 5:40. Things worked,out fine but no thanks to the attendant who did nothing for us. Had we not planned well to get to the train early to beat the rush, we would have missed our train

Great place to stay if your in town to run the marathon or just to hike the local trails Kelly at the front desk was very helpful giving suggestion as to what trails to hike and what restaurants go to and was very responsive to what to answering our questions about hotel services

Not a very impressive hotel. Furnishings are dated and our comforter was stained. There was no WIFI signal in the room, no lid on the toilet and there was a used coffee pod in the coffee maker when we arrive. More surprising was the lack of customer focus. No cups at the coffee bar and we were told by the front desk to bring the ones from our room. My eggs were cold at the breakfast buffet. Later, when one of the guests asked for more eggs at the breakfast buffet she was dismissively told that it was too late to make any more and to talk to the front desk if she had an issue.

Front desk staff were unfriendly and borderline rude, except when a supervisor or manager were present, but once they were out of the picture. Very unfriendly and seemed put out by guest. Support staff (maid service, cooks) were very freindly and more helpfull a courteous.

Wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. The whole place was tired and dirty. Asked for our room to be made up. The front desk said request had to be made when we arrived. Bathroom floor was filthy. Black mold in the shower. Hard to believe the could charge that much for what we got. Never again.
