修道院莊園山度假飯店(Monastery Estate Retreat)

Cet hôtel nous a permis d'être au calme au lieu des montagnes et des chèvres. Ce fut très relaxant. Chambre propre et nous avons été surclassés. Personnels aux petits soins et de très bons conseils touristiques. Repas de très bonnes qualités. Je recommande

Hotel presque parfait ! Les plus : - endroit magnifique dans la montagne avec une très belle architecture - très belle terrasse avec piscine et superbe vue au calme - chambre spacieuse, minimaliste et lumineuse - staff adorable et très serviable - petit espace spa (sauna, hammam même si celui ci ne marchait pas) Les moins : - salle de bains mal conçue avec de l'eau qui déborde et inonde le sol. Elle reste donc humide et sombre - petit déjeuner très bon mais payant alors que la chambre est déjà chère (et qu'il y a peu de solutions pour prendre le petit déjeuner ailleurs) - service de chambre à améliorer

Un merveilleux hôtel situé à Moni, petit village avant d'arriver à Soudja, 10 mn en voiture. La chambre très bien décorée avec une petite piscine. Le personnel de l'hôtel à l'écoute de la clientèle. La restauration très bien, avec la possibilité de choisir son petit déjeuner commandé la veille. Cet hôtel ne mérite pas 3* personnellement il est sous côté. Le petit reproche qu'on peut faire, c'est le manque de signalisation, le panneau est petit, est situé dans un virage (sortie du village en direction de Soudja)

Fabulous place! A luxurious suite, great people, and an excellent restaurant. Wonderful views. It's out in the country, looking out over a canyon, with a wonderful view. The food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely come here again!

Splendid design rooms in a nice and calm mountain region. Great service and nearby Sougia beach (5-10mins by car) and a local restaurant in the village. Only little downside is - depending on your neighbours, that you literally hear every single word or noise of them :)

Breath taking views every morning and evening made this an amazing stay. The staff made you feel like family. The amazing breakfast was well worth the €14 and I highly suggest you get the Cretan breakfast. many thanks to Georgia and everyone on property for making our stay magical. I cannot wait to come and see you again. If you can stay in suite number 12, you will not only have a private pool, but a private hot tub as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful.

I’m sure when the property was new it would have been quite stylish even though it would still have been as uncomfortable as it is today. Style over function seems to have been the philosophy of the person who designed the rooms with never any intention of ever staying in them. Fancy a private plunge pool as promised on the website? Wrong! It’s a shared pool with the guests next door who are kept out of ‘your side’ by a tatty looking shark net. The gate to our pool area was broken, and quite dangerous given its at the top of a step concrete set of steps. Many of the lights in the outside area didn’t work. If I could have given a score of zero out of five I would have done, but I will concede the shower in the bathroom is very good. With any luck when you check in you will manage to avoid the rude girl with the glasses (you know who you are) and maybe by the time you arrive they will have gotten around to sorting out the unpleasant smell which pervades the premises. We paid for three nights and left after one. You would be mad to stay here.

I had the most amazing stay with my husband in July. The lovely ladies who run the hotel go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Sougia is very remote, quiet and has a "disconnected" feeling, which is amazing if you want to really unplug and relax, don't come here expecting to party! The restaurants at the beach serve the most delicious food I had in Crete, and the hotel restaurant is equally yum. The views are breathtaking, and it is worth coming for the views alone. This is a really quiet place and I think it's important any travellers come with that expectation to avoid any disappointmemts :). The only thing I didn't love was the drive from Chania, I am not a very confident driver and the roads are very windy, but if I managed I thibj anyone can manage (just drive slowly and move out of the way for any impatient drivers). If you want to experience remote, mountain life in a timeless small village, far away from the crowd, Monastery Estate Retreat is the perfect place. The hotel is beautiful and well designed, with private pool room all having a breathtaking Mountain View. It’s very quite and we slept super well. The road to go there makes it quite remote and isolated yet it is the perfect starting point to explore the south coast by boat from Sougia. The staff was super nice, helping with plenty of recommendations for activities and the best tavernas around. The restaurant was amazing with a nice view and delicious Cretan food. We also tried and recommend the traditional Taverna just above the hotel.
