普賴尼亞俱樂部飯店(Prainha Clube)

Just back. It's just OK . We were 4 girls travelling and had a 2 bed apartment. It only has one bathroom. No mirrors in the bedroom or in the bathroom, so imagine 4 girls ! It's a little run down also, and the balcony is tiny, with only 2 chairs on it and no table. The Atlantic pool is fab, but we never stayed as you have to pay €15 , which i felt was outrageous as a paying hotel guest. The pool beside reception is very run down and lacks any type of real atmosphere. Beach is beautiful. I ate a couple at the restaurant at the reception, it was nice. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, so helpful. It's a mixed bag.

Estive neste local do dia 8 de Maio até dia 11 de Maio de 2023, tinha reserva até dia 13 mas o que se passou foi tão difamatório e grave que sai no próprio dia para outro hotel da zona, no dia 11 de manhã recebo uma chamada da recepção, queriam falar com comigo pessoalmente, quando cheguei lá deparei me com um senhor que não se identificou, e com ele tinha uma imagem de um rasgo na pele de um sofá, e afirmou que era no nosso quarto, e já tinha o valor a ser pago, 140 + IVA, e ainda afirmou que a senhoras de limpeza são muito meticulosas nas inspecção ao quarto, a quantidade que tinha de lixo de baixo do sofá e na cama diz o contrário, depois daquilo fui ao quarto e o tal rasgo estava na parte de trás do sofá, a única coisa que fiz com aquele sofá foi puxar a frente para desligar os candeeiros para o meu filho não os estragar, visto que tinha fácil acesso a ele, as tomadas dos candeeiros estavam dobradas como se pode verificar nas imagens, se alguém estragou o sofá, foi quem empurrou o sofá contra as fichas e não eu, apenas preveni estragos ao retirar os candeeiros, ao senhor da recepção e a senhora Sílvia só tenho a dizer que de sérios e profissionais tem muito pouco, que percam tempo a limpar e modernizar o Hotel e não a tentar estroquir dinheiro a quem lhe dá o pão para comer. A minha pessoa e valores foi questionada por uma equipa de incompetentes.

Ha muitos anos, ficavamos na Prainha com alguma frequencia. Voltamos agora e tudo continua excelente. A localizacao, a fantastica piscina oceanica num enquadramento unico, o restaurante Caniço e acesso à praia surpreendentes e a qualidade e simpatia do pessoal. Nota máxima.

The apartment was clean modern with with plenty of ameneties. Also quite spacious with a well equipt kitchen and free wifi. The onsite restaurante is reasonably priced with quality produce, fresh seafood and a full spread buffet is available for breakfast...Invluding fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, juices a.nd a full english. The hospitality in the family run restaurant is top notch, and nothing is too much trouble all you have to do os ask. Would definately come back.

I feel like I am home!!! Monica the owner, Mea (everyone"s mum) and chef Nea made my food experience one of the best I have ever had!!..food is fresh and tasty. The girls who serve you are warm and friendly...I ate there morning, noon and night...I did not want to leave I am going to miss there freshly caught fish including my favorite the shrimps and also the beautiful ribs. Love you guys till next year Sirlena xx

My family have been coming to Prianha since I was a child. This year myself and my sister decided to return to Prainha and we’re so glad that we did! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome - despite arriving at almost 11! Our villa was ready for us upon arrival and the reception staff explained everything wonderfully, even providing a map of the villas, pools, beaches, bars and other amenities. The villa was spacious and decorated with traditional Portuguese decor. The bed was comfortable and they provide plenty of extras such as an iron, drying rack for clothes, towels etc. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous beaches and amazing cliffs. The pools and communal areas were well kept and always clean. The staff were always friendly and happy to help. The bars and restaurants within Prainha are all amazing - Miss Pasta being a personal favourite of ours - The staff even remembered our family from our previous visits! The local towns and city’s provide great days out with a range of activities, shops, restaurants etc and are easy to access via car, taxi, bolt/Uber or public transport - even a walk if you want to get your step in as the scenery is lovely and there’s plenty to take in. Accommodation was great value for money. For us Prainha is a home away from home and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in Portugal!

The hotel is perfectly adequate, nothing particularly special & nothing to complain about but thats not why you should go here. The will see reviews saying the hotel pool and loungers are a litte run down or old. This is true but forget this pool a 3 or 4 minute walk away is the hotels Atlantic pool, the Atlantic pool is nothing short of iconic and breath taking. Its over looking the sea and built into the cliffs and hills. The beach is surrounded by huge cliff faces with caves and arches. The views here are nothing short of amazing. Normally when you see pictures you think they are of the one little perfect spot and the rest of the place is likely normal, the truth is this is one of the most beautiful places I have been in my life. Ensure to book a table at Canico while there, the food is amazing but the view is out of this world. The restaurant is cut into the cliff face and as the sun goes down the water is lapping directly beneath you while surrounded by rock faces. Essentially the main hotel, nothing special but its location and Atlantic pool make this place something most definitely worth doing. If I was this hotels manager I would just use the photos of the Atlantic pool not the small pool next to the hotel

We stayed in hotel section of Prainha Club. We had a studio and a 1 bedroom apartment. Rooms were fine ..balcony disappointing as it is a very small area so no room for table and chairs to enjoy the view. Cleaning was only every 3 days and in my opinion not enough. Just my thoughts they should have a recycling facility outside reception. Reception staff were excellent. We ate 3 times in restaurant attached to reception. Lovely staff but not great English to understand orders so Google translate was handy. Food was only OK. 25 minute walk into the town Alvor.. taxi back €6. Pools were great the one outside reception and of course the Atlantic pool. I do not understand why you have to pay for sunbeds at Atlantic pool as no one uses them and Prainha is quite an expensive stay so they should be included. The small shop stocks alot of things and only a few cent in difference of going to the town for shops. It does close 1pm to 3 pm. Great space in the grounds of Prainha club ..beautiful views. Fab beach with lift down to beach but also a good few steps. Nice complex ..very relaxing ..but for the price there are some things they could change. Definitely worth a visit .. they do not have and free shuttle to town so be aware it is outside Alvor.

A perfect spot with a great green spaces, pools and beaches. The cleaning is excellent and the houses are spacious. All staff is friendly. Near to Praia da Rocha and all services. Is a place very calm and beautiful
