The staff were professional and friendly here. We booked a standard with a king-sized bed.The room at this branch - Albuquerque East did not a funky smell and was clean & had international plugs which was nice. The front desk and everyone was helpful. The breakfast food and staff were all helpful and friendly. Bonus: Our room had a really nice view of the moutains as well. Had a totally different experience at Holiday Inn Houston East-Channelview. The staff were not friendly and were not helpful either (save for the Bengali lady who was probably the front desk manager). The room had a weird smell. The hotel food at the restaurant was so salty. The breakfast was ok and location was ok. That was only the plus for Houston East Channelview branch.

The hotel is new and it shows. It’s spotlessly clean and everything is in great shape. The breakfast was quite good with fresh biscuits and gravy, which was nice. The coffee is terrible, but it’s what I’ve come to expect from most hotels. The bed is too hard for my liking, but otherwise a good stay.

Do not stay in room 410. There is some machinery on the roof top that turns on and off constantly. I’ll was unable to sleep. The hotel staff tried to do what they could but because the hotel was completely full they couldn’t move me. I spoke with the general manager and she felt horrible about it and offered me a free room the next time I visit which was appreciated. Had I not stayed in 410 it would have been excellent on all marks. Hopefully they fix the problem soon.

Cars at hotels in Albuquerque get broken into on a regular basis. This hotel is kind of out of the way and not located with other hotels so I don’t feel like it’s a target. It also has fencing and a locking gate that closes at 10:00 PM and you need a room key to enter. If you show up after 10:00 you either push the button on the keypad or call a number. I liked this hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. The only timing issue was that most of the guests were there for the balloon festival so much if not most of the hotel was up and leaving at 4am and it got a bit noisy.

It was very nice and quiet. Safe and I really appreciated the gated parking lot. The clerk was very helpful and friendly. We left very early and she made sure we had coffee and a muffin! Thanks!

Staff at check in was extremely friendly and attentive. Nice, clean facility. Neighborhood around facility was highly suspect but didn’t feel unsafe on the property.
